That is so sweet! You must be so proud of her. :goodvibes

Good luck with that storm, hon.

Oh, in my case, it's the grandparents for sure. :lmao: My son was the first grandchild on both sides, so suffice it to say he's very well...cared for. ;)

Sorry to hear he's still not settled, but at least you have a viable solution.

No. You are not chopped liver, chopped liver is gross.

Well, I want to thank you right there for differentiating between me and the horse. :lmao:

Um, ladies? SOME OF US STILL DON'T HAVE ANY TAGS!!!!! :rolleyes1

Sorry for the shouting. I just believe with some of the doozies...or gems...that have come out of my mouth, I would have been tagged by now. Alas. I am still tag nekkid.

:lmao: I'm sorry this reminds me of when My kids were about 2 and 3. after their bath (single parent btw) they would run out of the bathroom with their towels on and into the living room (no one there) and take their towels off and yell "Naked Butt" why i don't know but it was funny :lmao:

I hope you get your tag!! :goodvibes

I'm thinkin' he/she may want to stay tuned to a certain TR of yours......

:rotfl2:

.

Ok, since I didn't multi-quote, I'm doing this from memory. So it all may be in reverse.

LegoMom - sorry TK the horse didn't work out. I'm sure you'll find a good fit one day. Also, love your decorations.

Cheermom - That is very sweet of your DD. We do that every year with our girls, but for her to pay for it with her own money is very giving.

Smiley - Stay safe in the weather! I hope it skips you and your forest of Christmas trees.

Amanda - you stay safe and dry too!

Kimmar - My DD kept asking why we didn't try to touch him. I said I was too busy taking pictures, I don't know what her excuse was.

TK - we have a mountain of toys here too. It's about time to make the girls go through them and give the ones in good condition to charity. We tell them the only way to get more toys from Santa is to make room for them by getting rid of the unused ones. Though Santa seems to be more on the 1 toy for 5 given away exchange rate.

IWAS - I'm so sorry about your loss. It will be hard on your parents for awhile. I lost my mother almost 5 years ago. It's very tough at first. Even as adults, we tend to lean on our parents. But over time, it will get better. You will be a big help to get them through it. I know my kids were.

Oh, hon--I'm so sorry. . .7 years ago yesterday my dad lost his battle to cancer. My heart goes out to anyone who has to deal with the loss of a loved one. The pain dulls after time, but there are still jars throughout life. :( I miss him.

Iwas...... And to everyone that is dealing with the anniversaries of loss this Holiday Season :grouphug:

IwasBorn.....I'm sorry for this difficult time. I know the pain and it will get better with time. Last month would have been my sisters b-day and was also the anniversary of her death. She died when I was a Senior in HS. That was not an easy year.

IwasBorn....

IWas...just wanted to offer some :grouphug:

IWBTLD - I'm so sorry...what a rough week. Sending up an extra prayer for you and your family....

thanks so much guys :goodvibes

and btw.... i've decided my name is too long; it gets shortened to IWas and IWBTLD lol :upsidedow

I don't have a tag :sad1: i've been ignored all together :sad2::mad:

oh well when I least expect it I'll get one :woohoo:

I love that positive attitude! I need to get that about my tagless state.

:lmao: I'm sorry this reminds me of when My kids were about 2 and 3. after their bath (single parent btw) they would run out of the bathroom with their towels on and into the living room (no one there) and take their towels off and yell "Naked Butt" why i don't know but it was funny :lmao:

That is so funny, we actually yell that about my son when he's running around naked. He does the same thing! :lmao:

.

You do have a point there. :scratchin

It must be about time for a new round of tags! Come on Tagfairy!

WOO HOO!!! :worship:

I did explain that to my son as well. I figure four is old enough to understand that there are less fortunate children who would love to play with the toys that he's not playing with anymore. :thumbsup2

thanks so much guys :goodvibes

I think we're just fond of giving nicknames around here, too. :thumbsup2

I think it's just our natural laziness. Mine gets shortened to MQ a lot. I bet one day our whole language will devolve into txt spk.

Good morning. It is nice to have the day to get things done, but honestly I'd rather be working and getting a paycheck this week. I'm not complaining though, too many people have been laid off and can't find work. I'll focus on appreciating the extra time.

We are getting out Xmas tree Sat so maybe I will start pulling out boxes of decorations. Not as easy as it sounds b/c they are stuffed in a small short closet under a staircase.

Today is my husbands b-day. I'll make brownies for tonight b/c we are having his cake Friday evening at my brother and his girl friend's house. They have a pool and ping pong table so it's more fun over there. 2 of my brothers bought this pool table when we bought our house and they put it in my cellar. The deal between them was the 1st person who got a house, got to take it. 1 brother took it a few years ago when he moved in with his girl friend. The brother that moved near me wishes it was still here. I miss that pool table. It was a lot of fun.
