Thank you. I'm at a loss as what to do with that ledge year round. There is one good thing about it. I had a plug put in that is controlled by a light switch on the first floor. Oh, and it is also a great dust collector. And for some reason, bugs go there to die.

I'm sorry this reminds me of when My kids were about 2 and 3. after their bath (single parent btw) they would run out of the bathroom with their towels on and into the living room (no one there) and take their towels off and yell "Naked Butt" why i don't know but it was funny

When DD was a toddler I always liked doing ****ies, Bellie, Butt cause they all started with a "B" and I thought it was funny. Dunno why.

Its snowing in Texas!!!! I want SNOW!!! I have snow in one of the Christmas trees. (The big one) I have real (plastic) crystal snowflakes EVERYWHERE. I want to make Christmas snow angels. Oh snow fairy, snow fairy, snow fairy....please bring us snow.

When we get some I'll send some snow down to you. I hate it.

I sure do! But not because of the weather. DD3 was up all night with a fever. She was on antibiotics for an ear infection, so we were confused. Took her to the doctor again today and they said not only did that ear infection not go down as much as they'd like, the other ear was developing an infection! I have an appointment now to see an ENT. The doctor is worried the infections could be causing hearing damage. This is her 5th one of the year. I think after this round, we've tried every antiobiotic you can.

When DD was a toddler she spent about 4 months going between ear infections and pink eye. She would have one infection, be off of antibiotics for about 10-14 days and get the other infection. She would go between these two infections. This cycle took forever to break.

Awww come on. You at least miss the prettiness about it. If we see any at all, its just a dusting. I think twice in my life we have had close to a foot on the ground. And one of those times was actually a white Christmas.

I was just looking at your ticker. Its possible that hubby and I will (fingers crossed) may be there around the same time you are. Our time to go is the Christmas season. As a matter of fact today would have been our last day there. But there was just no way. He is working all day and late into the night right now. I did get him to take Thanksgiving day off though. DD and I are talking about a possible trip in Feb. or March. ( It will be our first mother daughter trip) I refuse to put a ticker in my signature. Tickers seem to mean death to my trips. Its the little sneaky ones that seem to work.

first the mother/daughter trip; you will have soooooooo much fun!! my mom and i did that when i was in 5th grade (i was 10) it was a blast!

and onto the snow...

sheesh! we had snow one year up and over my dad's head; and he is 6 foot 6 inches!! it was ridiculous! there was so much in the back yard that we made two straight tunnels and one connecting the two (like and H ) it was quite the sight! some drifts blew at an angle so that you could walk from the snow to the roof with almost no effort.

can anyone top that?

Mean Queen, I hope your daughter feels better soon. My son had an ear infection in October that was so difficult to shake it took two rounds of antibiotics...I can't imagine five.

Oh and no, we're not getting snow here. They got some in El Paso yesterday - waaaayy out west near New Mexico, and apparently they got some up in Amarillo (far north, panhandle) and Dallas (still north of here) this morning.

Friday again! Wow, the weeks do fly, huh?! At least for me and Smileybug! We're sitting here waiting to see how much snow we get today. Yes, snow. Actually, we're not supposed to get much more than a dusting around here. Houston, on the other hand..... DH is taking his folks to the airport in Austin this morning. Should be an ok drive. I have to go clean one last building at camp, but other than that I'm stayin' IN! Too. Cold.
