...Yesterday my hubby was out cutting line in preparation to shoot a job. He stepped in something that he claims is bear poo. It's possible.....we do have a few black bears around. He was just sooooo dog gone proud of the fact. :rotfl2::rotfl: Men......do they ever really grow up. :confused3:rotfl:

...lemme get this straight: your DH was PROUD OF STEPPING IN BEAR POOP.....o-kay-y-y-y-y-y-y....

...all :thumbsup2, except for the highlighted ones - good, not great....JMHO :)

We've done those two highlighted ones but both for breakfast. Is dinner just not that great, or do you not care for them for any meal? Just wondering because we've considered CM for dinner in the future.

...we've done CM for breakfast several times and it was awesome, but a few people that I know that have eaten dinner there have said to me that it was 'typical buffet food' - not good, not bad...as for CP, my DS and his GF ate dinner there for Valentine's Day in Feb., and they enjoyed the ambiance and service way more than the food...:confused3

...the life of your auto depends upon ONE STINKIN' BOLT??!??!

Well, at this point, even the worst-case scenario is still cheaper than a new van. But yes, ONE lousy bolt is causing ALL the problems right now (well that and the fact it's so hard to reach). Once this hoopla is over with, we're setting up a savings for next year, because her days are numbered....all thanks to New England salting the bejeebers out of their roads for 6 months out of the year!

Hello everyone. Sorry i've been so MIA but school is keeping me super busy! :faint: I'm loving it though! I really think that the connections i'm making at the school and the great art education will get me a job at Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilms etc. down the line.

Your ADRs look great Amanda! And I hope your little one is feeling much better  This always seems to be the time of year when people get sick. One recommendation I do have that a lot of people don't know about is that the Crystal Palace lunch menu is practically the same as the dinner menu with the exception of the meats on the carving stations. However dinner will be start being served around three. The jump from the lunch price to the dinner price is about ten dollars. So my suggestion is that you get reservations for about 2:45 and then you'll only have to pay the lunch price while they start setting out dinner items at 3:00. I know it's an early dinner but just a suggestion ;) Either way the food is delicious at all times of the day

Anna--thanks, and I am so glad you are enjoying school. We're going for free dining, and paying oop for a couple of lunches. In fact, CRT and CP are the same day!

As far as CP and Cm go, we are only doing CP because it is a tradition. DD7 loves Piglet, and we have never been to WDW without CP as a meal. I was going to not do it this time, but when I told Boo we weren't eating with Piglet, she started to cry. We want to do CM just to say we've done it, ya know. We aren't hoping for a great meal, just a chance to do Chef Mickey's.

I just talked to Sweetie on the phone (I'm on lunch break) and she says she's feeling better and wants to go back to school. The doctor has her out through Sunday, though, so she will just have to sit tight. Everyone else is still fine, knock on wood. Stinky says his hands are raw from washing, lol.

creativeamanda, so glad your daughter is feeling better.

seewhatimesdone, it's great to hear from you and I'm happy school is going well.

LegoMom, good luck with the van.

:goodvibes to all.

Aww Boo loves Piglet, how adorable! Seeing the kids gets so excited when the characters came around was one of the best things about my job. I have never eaten at Chef Mickey's either. From the description it sounds a lot like Goofy's kitchen at the Disneyland hotel. I like having the chance to taste a lot of different things so the buffet is a good choice in my opinion. :thumbsup2

Glad Sweetie is feeling better :goodvibes Everyone seems to be getting sick here too so i'm right there with Stinky :rotfl:

Good to see you again! How are things going?

Hi see!! Glad you're loving school! That's great. Sounds like you've got a great career path ahead of you.:thumbsup2

HEY Y'ALL!.....DH got the van fixed!!:banana: WOO HOOTIE!

.

Amanda - those ADR's sound great! Even though the meal at CM isn't amazing, the character interaction should be.

LegoMom - your time said 8:44. The weather here has been hot, but a bit cooler. Like low - high 80's rather than low - high 90's. My DH is actually in Texas right now, College Station. He said it was low 70's this morning.

Anna - your school sounds great! I never asked before, did you design your hook tattoo?

Smiley, PaMom, SadieDog - Hello all!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to say I'm glad to hear your daughter is feeling better, CreativeAmanda.

I did read all the posts, I'm just running short on time tonight. I'm hoping to catch up over the weekend. Until then, everyone have a great night! :goodvibes

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes
Its raining. But it isn't pouring.
I'm sorry that I missed the chatter yesterday.

creativeamanda....I'm so happy to hear that your DD is feeling better. :goodvibes

See....Things are sounding pretty wonderful for you too!!

Mean Queen.....What has been going on in your world?

SadieDog....are you feeling better? I hope so. :goodvibes

Legomom.....Yay for you!!:banana: And a new word too. Woo Hootie!! :rotfl:

TK.....I know what you mean about no time. It isn't even 7:00am and my day is already very full. :upsidedow

kimmar..... kimmar.....kimmar.............:rotfl:

I hope you all have a wonderful day. And remember.......IT'S FRIDAY!!:banana::banana:

Good morning.

Good to see you again! How are things going?

Going ok here. I'm getting used to my daughter being away at college. It is more quiet around the house with only 1 teenager around.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes
SadieDog....are you feeling better? I hope so. :goodvibes

:banana::banana::banana:

I have a pretty bad sinus headache about every morning. Fall is my worse time. It does get better after the neti pot and stuff. Every morning I wake up with a dizzy head and pounding head, nose and teeth. It can be diffucult getting out of bed, but I know after I do my stuff, it will get better. Yesterday "better" was a bad headache instead of terrible throbbing pain. I went right from daycare to cleaning my brothers house. Breathing in all that dust sure does not help.

 For my birthday, my dear friend sent me tickets to the NASCAR race in Loudon again this year. That is where my husband and I are heading Sunday. Last year I was pretty sick with a sinus infection when we went. I have not dared to look at the weather yet.

Hey SadieDog. :goodvibes
You know, after you get used to the fact that they are out of the house. Its kind of freeing. :goodvibes

I hope today is a better day for you. :goodvibes

Have we missed your birthday? :scared1:

I hope you are well and have the best time ever at the races!!!:banana:

Wow, so much chit-chat already this morning!....:)

Full day ahead for me as well. Need to head to camp with DH in about an hour to finish getting the main building ready for tonight's group. Then I'm heading to town for groceries (having been stuck at home all week we need EVERY thing!!...I'm not even sure what the boys can find for breakfast!). Later on I have housecleaning to do....:sad2: Next week we're going to another camp for a couple of days for a leader's conference and I'm looking forward to that.

SadieDog
- is the race this weekend the Sylvania race?? That's where DH used to work. He could get discounted tix but then he always had to work, it seemed.:confused3

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!!

I'm home with two kids. Stinky has a stomach bug. When I took Sweetie to the doctor earlier this week, he told me they are contending with a 24-hour stomach virus, Swine Flu, a cold, and strep throat. That explains the 45-minute wait for him. I thought it was just the fact that Sweetie was a new patient (I don't know if I mentioned it, but things are so bad with illness around here that her pediatrician had to close his practice for a few days due to him being sick). He sends his patients to another pediatrician, but I absolutely despise him--I don't like being spoken to as if I'm an ignorant redneck. I know my accent is a bit Goofy-ish, but that's no reason to deduct 10-20 IQ points from me. We've been contemplating taking the kids to our family doctor. We go to church with him, he's got a big practice with a lab, outpatient surgery area, and most recently a CAT scan machine in the office. The pediatrician always had to send the kids to the hospital for tests, which incurred more charges. The ped being out sick made our decision for us. I went ahead and moved Sweetie's files to the family doctor and signed the release for the other two kids on Wednesday.

Legomom--I am so glad your van is fixed! I remember Dan and his uncle dismantling the engine basically to replace a water pump. Nothing is stranger than walking into your yard and seeing half of your car outside the car on the ground on tarps for a simple repair. My dad always said, too, that if he didn't have something left over in the end, he didn't fix it right. I wonder how many parts his truck is missing right now. Maybe that's why we can't get it to run (forget that it was built in 1989 and has over 250,000 miles on it)

Sadiedog--Can I go to the race, too? It seems so strange that I live so close to Darlington, yet have never seen a race. That should be on my "to do" list. I hope you are feeling well for it. I used to have seasonal allergies when we lived in the Midlands of South Carolina. Since we've moved to the coast, I rarely have problems with it anymore, but I can definitely empathize.

I really should be updating my PTR and TR. I've been away from them for 2 weeks!

Anna--I do agree that Crystal Palace is fun. And can you deny this face?

Like I said, I was really going to say pass on this meal this time. I couldn't let my Boo down, though. . .

LegoMom - Yes, it's the Sylvania race.

creativeamanda - Hope everyone gets well soon. You MUST get to Darlington someday. That would be so much fun.

The throbbing is getting pretty bad again. I better go take decongestant and ibuprofen. UGH I guess I will do the neti pot for a 2nd time too.
