I was good. I cooked dinner tonight for them. Now they think I'm the evil stepmother--they have to clean their rooms, sort the laundry, take baths, and find all of the rechargeable batteries. Now they get to watch TV for 2 hours before they have to go to bed, because they have to go to work with me tomorrow and I don't want a fight in the morning.

Quick good morning here! How's everyone?

I don't expect to be around much for a while....life's getting too busy. And after this weekend I'll be without Internet for a while. Depends on how long I have to wait to have a Dish guy come out and set us up. I may call them this week and see if I can get something for next week, rather than wait to get there before I call and have to wait even longer! LegoMom doesn't like being w/o Internet...

Heading to Busch Gardens today! Still not riding Sheikra....

How was everyone's weekend?

Apparently I spent mine trying to ruin our vacation to Disney next year but only for my dh and his boys not my kids....at least according to C.Ann anyway...

if I wanted to do that i wouldn't have posted a concern in the first place I would have said nothing and let them be miserable.
I showed the thread to my dh and he really got upset by what she said and told me to tell her off ...
of course I thought I was on the camping board, darn it and my not paying attention!


Anyway other then that i had a GREAT weekend hope everyone else did too..

Even a few others chipped in and said that was a far cry from what I had posted...oh well no biggy but i do think the mods need to keep an eye on her, I have seen her in several other threads sprewing her negativity. I think she likes to stir the pot..kwim?

Sorry for yelling, but, I GOT A PART TIME JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's at a Hallmark store near me. When I picked up the application last Wednesday I chit chatted with the ladies there. Well, one of them turned out to be the owner(I found that out today). So she said that she needed someone to work 4-9 and every other weekend. I said that was something I could do since I get off of work at 3 during the school year.

Cheermom, I am sorry about the problems with the board. It's slways tough, but I have learned to stick here. Every once in a whole I venture out. I usually regret it.

Well, Sweetie did NOT do the dishes. She fed the chickens, dogs, and cats. Mr. Dishwasher did the dishes.

Ahh. . .food boogars. A friend of mine once used this term and I picked it up. It's the term he uses for the left over food on the plate. Once someone has been eating out of a plate, I find it difficult to look at it. Even more, when I am finished easting at a restaurant, I want my plates taken away immediately. I just cannot stand to be near them once even I have eaten from them.

There you have it. The Webster's dictionary meaning for

food boogars: n. pl.--left over food on a plate once the connosseur has finished eating from that plate. Amanda wanted to get another plate of desserts, but the food boogars in the plate she had just finished distracted and sickened her.
