Hey TK. :goodvibes I have sooooo much housework and laundry to get caught up on. :sad2: But it feels so nice to feel like I can actually do it. :thumbsup2

Good morning! Happy Monday!

Smileybug, glad you're feeling better.....Hope to see more of you around here!:goodvibes

creativeamanda, sorry to see you go for a bit but I fully understand! One of these days that might have to be me, sorry to say...:sad2:

Hi TK!..:wave2:

Mean Queen - sorry about the Rays game! Indeed you should have been at BG with your friends!;)

We had a great time there! Last time we were there was almost 5 years ago, so this was a very different experience with the kids that much older! DS12 and DS9 went on Gwazi, SheiKra (!!!), Montu and Kumba. DH quit after Montu...that one was a bit much for him. DS9 totally surprised me!...he's my shy, introvert kid and I never expected him to be a thrill-ride lover! DS7 and I did some tamer stuff....he's not big on the rides that flip. We did the animal trails late in the day and as a result they were all out and about. I have some great pictures which I'll post later when I get them on Photobucket.

Oh, and I got to experience the Brazilian tour groups first-hand!! No rudeness, just lots and lots of people in matching shirts, following a person with a flag....Kind of funny.

I know the feeling. I made a huge mess all over our dining room table yesterday trying out different park bags for my upcoming trip, and there's a dishwasher that needs to be unloaded that I'm currently ignoring.

DS and I are having a lazy Monday. I'm still in my workout clothes from this morning, he's wearing shorts, no shirt :lmao:, and I built him a fort in the living room to watch TV in. :thumbsup2

LegoMom, I love the picture of the birds.

DD told the girl next door, who btw knocked on our door @ 10 AM on a Sunday, that sh would come out & play. DD comes to me and says, "Mom, I told her I would come out & play as soon as I get dressed, brush my hair & comb my teeth." I of course started laughing like crazy and told her that I wanted to watch her comb her teeth.....:rotfl::lmao:

Cuz we all know that no one around HERE is getting one....:sad2:

Sad, but true. :sad1::sad1::sad1:

Good luck, hon. I work in a bank, it's hard, but it's work. :thumbsup2

LegoMom - great pictures! We haven't been to BG in years. We may have to get passes again soon. My DD9 likes roller coasters and may be brave enough to try a few of them... but not Sheikra. :scared1:

I cannot believe they went on that..... But they said it was soooo smooth! Granted, it's smooth, but it also drops you straight down from a height of 200 feet!!!!

Anywho, we got the FL resident Fun Pass. Costs the same as just the one-day admission, but you get to come back unlimited times for 2009. We figure we'll use it again at least a couple of times before heading to TX!

.

Here is some group of poor souls, plummeting down the first drop.....

What is really cool about this ride, though, is that you can walk right up close to it (and get wet if you so choose!). Those considering whether to ride or not can get a very up-close encounter with it before actually getting on!

.

When that ride first was built, people got stuck at the very top of the drop. No thanks. I won't ever go on a ride that requires me to risk my life to climb off of it.
