Hope y'all have a Babnana-tastic day!! I'm out to meet my dad for coffee, then back here to start the Big Clean.

.

Oh my gosh I just saw your new ticker! You're going for Christmas! That's great :banana:

I just crunched the numbers again, and although I really, really, really want to go in December, I can't. I can't afford it. :sad1: I can afford to put back a certain amount every month comfortably for vacation. The number I keep coming up with for December is not comfortable. . .So, I guess it will be June again. Did ya'll know how much more expensive December is than June? :eek:

Have fun (I think).

...:confused3 at least it's FRIDAY!! :woohoo::dance3::woohoo::dance3:

Yesterday was my Friday. I took a long nap yesterday afternoon. This morning I don't feel so great. One week back with summer students and I think I have a stomach bug. :scared:

...'Scoobey'???

::yes::

The job that I had an interview with, through a temp agency, decided not to go through with anything right now. :sad:

But, the good news is that Harry Potter opens next week & I'm going to buy tickets today.

I'm sorry to hear that :( I think it really comes down to the room prices. They sky rocket during the holiday season. I always figured if we went during Christmas that we'd have to stay off property or have some sort of big discount. Hopefully you'll be able to make it work somehow :hug:

I believe the cheapest time to go is like September - October, Jan - Feb, and then May if I remember correctly.

I still have a misspelled word in my tag.

:scared1: If it makes you feel any better I didn't notice!
Sorry to hear about the job. And thanks for reminding me about Harry Potter!!! :banana:

So, I'm wondering, what makes people think it's ok to run power tools outside, in a residential neighborhood, at 7am on a Saturday morning????

Oh, and by the way, these are the same people who left the kitten in the cage under the carport and thought that was ok...:headache:

I'll bust them later, though....DH is working with the park maintenance guy today so we'll have the park manager give them a gentle reminder that there are QUIET HOURS until 8am! (she's bi-lingual; if you try to talk to them yourself they "claim" they don't speak English....Odd since the little girl who lives with them speaks it perfectly).

Yep, nice way to start my day....

Sounds like you got some real winners for neighbors. :rolleyes: It's amazing how many people don't speak English when they don't want to hear what you have to say.

Wow--what a great way to start the morning.

I agree.

DH's bff (the one he went to Baltimore to see suring our trip) joined the boards last night. Now if I can only get him to come over here to the dark side.

Oh, and another thing. I had this idea for my next PTR--which will start probably at the close of this Trip Report--and I wanted to run it by ya'll for your input. My idea is to actually turn each update into a sort of fairytale. Ya know, "Once upon a time. . . ." I'd like to carry that theme into the Trip Report later. Just wondering what ya'll thought about it.

I got one of my friends to join for the cruise, but I don't think she ventured further than reading trip report and our cruise link. The CB can be daunting.

I am not a trip report reader, but I think your idea sounds pretty creative, Amanda. ;)

That's creative ... CreativeAmanda. :thumbsup2
