Sadiedog--I'm glad you've been feeling better. I know it's tough when you feel bad.

TK--I see your trip is in 4 months--it goes faster than you think! I have to start packing and haven't. I have 25 days left.

Mean Queen--Have yall had plenty of rain yet? If not, I'll send you some.

Legomom--I'll be in Florida soon. Hopefully we can catch each other sometime--even if I have to go back home via St. Pete.

DO--well, haven't seen you recently, either, but hope whatever you are doing it's fantastic.

Thanks all of you for the kind words about the garden. I love it--it's the nicest one we've had in a long time. I probably have a million squash out there to pick right now--we've started sharing with neighbors. Of course, we have to drive 5-10 minutes for neighbors, but ya know. . .

Yesterday I almost fainted in the middle of Walmart--it was the last day of school and I was cleaning. In blue jeans and I was out in the humidity a lot. I got over exhausted and they tried to make me go home. Note to self: NO Blue Jeans in 90 degree weather. I went to Walmart and bought a pair of shorts and some watermelon and changed/ate and felt much better.

It already feels warm this am--we're gonna have a hot summer!

Well, gotta go--we have an ice cream party today for our baseball team and I need to get my rear in gear.

creativeamanda, I can't remember if I told you that your hens are pretty. Jeans and 90 degrees would make me faint too. My body can't handle heat. You take care when working outside. You don't want to end up face down in your garden.

I spoke too soon about my back being better. Now that I am moving around and doing things, it's not so good. Oh well, it should be better in a few days. I'm prepping for priming and painting. Moving the kitchen table out of the room sure didn't help my back. OMG, I have so much work to do, I could cry. Must start with the ceilings. I'm hoping my husband is in the mood to help. He is tall and it's much easier for him to reach up and do the ceilings than me having to lug around a step ladder. I also don't have much for arm strength so painting ceilings is not so much fun. UGH I have to sand joint compound patches with sandpaper. NO powersander and I will use a mask. Even though it doesn't fit right, it's got to help some. I'm covering things for easier clean up too. NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO ANY OF THIS

Hey ya'll. We are finally having a beautiful sunny day. All my kids are on the water today. Boy have I pushed the sunscreen and gatorade. I have to keep reminding myself that they are all young adults and can take care of themselves. Hubby is working in the yard as usual and guess where I'm going to be? In the house. I have let my housework slide this week. I have to get caught back up. I hope you are all enjoying your day. And thanks for all the congrats on my mega milestone post. I do think I'll work on posting another 10,000. It only took me 3 years to post the first 10,000. I guess that means that ya'll are gonna have to stick around here with me. Because I can't do it without ya'll.

Hello all!

We went to the Taste of Pinellas this morning. It was hot, but still breezy. We tried out some yummy food for a good cause. St. Pete has one of the best children's hospitals in the country. Since my little one spent her first 10 days there, we try to help out when they have fundraisers. Plus, we get to try out different restaurants.
