Sadly, yes... Actually, today was dry all day up until a short time ago. Then the sky opened! (keep in mind I'm not right near Disney so just because I'm soaked, doesn't mean they are!). These storms are very scattered but when they hit, break out the ponchos!!

I just missed the huge downpour when I left work. I picked up my oldest then got my nails done. While I was in the shop, the sky opened up. By the time I was done, it was just a sprinkle again. We really need this rain, so I'm not going to complain too much. I just hope it doesn't rain all weekend. Since we were planning on watching the animals from our room and swimming at the hotel, rain could put a damper on both.

Good morning, good people! This is probably my last time on the DIS, we have a crazy busy weekend ahead, so I hope you all enjoy your weekends!

Wow, that's one heck of a prize bucket!!.... We did a similar chart for DS9 (he was my tough nut) only his had Thomas the Tank Engine stuff on it...when the train got to the station (via stickers!) he got a reward of some sort.

That's a great idea with Thomas! DS just started to be interested in him recently, and what a great show. I love how it's done.

Weekend's almost here!!! Anybody having a big cook-out on Monday or anything fun like that? We might do that. Haven't had burgers on the grill since coming down here, although we had to part with FIL's gas grill when we moved so it's back to charcoal (which I really do love, but you get used to the ease of the gas grill!).

I really love the charcoal flavor as well. We have a small charcoal on our balcony and it's nice to grill out when the weather is good.

To tell you the truth....I have been just plain yucky the last few days. But I'm getting better.

No sooner were we finishing up there than Mean Queen calls me, so we met right next door for lunch! Now I'm sitting here at home listening to the thunder...the sky is almost black just to the north of me!

So, I'm back, but if this storm gets any worse I'll be shutting down the computer for a while.
