The kids are in school and LegoDad was job hunting the last I talked to her. I hope they find something soon! Should we PM her the link to our new home? She was already feeling a bit behind since she has no internet.

FINALLY got the Internet on here at home!! Alas, I still have no TV service so NO idea what's been going on with AI (aside from the updates here).

But, TV is a luxury right now, whereas Internet almost qualifies as a "need" so at least I'm on the DIS! I will probably be on the computer half the night, as I have so much to catch up on on so many sites!!

I second what Mean Queen said - heart-farting Pooh is back and all is right with the world....

Did you have a long day today?

Horrible day. My daughter called me from work to inform me that she had 3 awful voicemails from "friends." They threatened her and we had to go to the police station and file a report. The messages were BAD and it was not a quick "you are a "B" I hate you." They were long and threatened to hurt her and kick her "butt." One of the girls moved here b/c of fighting so we took it seriously. After the 3 voicemails she got a text from one of them that said "see you at school." The 3 girls were called by an officer and told they could be charged with harrassment if they contact her again. She is very nervous about walking in school Monday. These were her friends. They are NOT nice girls and she has had problems with them starting stuff before but never this bad. 7 more weeks till graduation. What a way to end your senior year. When you are in the 'popular' group and they turn on you, it's pretty bad. 1 of the girls is Queen Bee and everyone follows her lead. She only has a couple friends now and I hope they stand by her.

This all started b/c a guy told them that my daughter called her best friend fat. She didn't even say it. In fact the guy was not even at the party that he said he heard her say it. Ridiculous. These girls live for drama and causing issues. My daughter had a horrible year last year b/c of them, but she thought that this year was going to be different. There were a few minor issues earlier that were resolved. I don't think this is going to be resolved.

I am very tired, but I have a feeling I won't sleep well. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and start "thinking" and can't get back to sleep.

To top it off my daughters best friend that thinks called her fat is the daughter of where I work. I know why she was hiding from me today. Also the mother I work for was talking about her daughter and choosing her words carefully. She kept saying things like X found out some girls were calling her fat and we can't believe "this person" would do that. She kept saying I told her "this person" was not really ever her friend and to stay away from "this person" and so on. I knew right away that she must have meant my daughter. I am not stupid. So she was really bad mouthing "this person" not thinking I knew she was talking about my daughter. Later she went on to say she knows that this guy and the other girls are manipulative, lie, mean and nasty. Gee, think that might be a clue that they are also making this up about my daughter. UGH Can't wait to go to work tomorrow. It's like I am back in High School too. I tried to point out that these kids could be lying again and she kept saying no, I know "this person" said it b/c a guy is confirming the story too. My daughters other friend that she was with that night tried to text my daughters best friend and tell her that she never said it and how she can't believe that she would believe those other girls over my daughter. I really hate to go to work tomorrow.

Sadie - I'm so sorry you and your DD are going through this. That type of stuff started in 1st grade for my DD. I hate having to teach her that she will deal with this type of stuff her whole life, so she better learn how to deal with it early. It's too bad people can't just sit down and work out problems rather than jumping to the worst conclusions.

Is the daughter of the person you work with the same one you called the police about? I hope you don't have any problems with your job.

I really don't think there is anything worse than a female when she desides to be nasty.
