Y'ALL!!! (<--honorary GRIT and all...) Did you know that if you go into User CP, where it lists your subscriptions, if you hold the mouse pointer over the little envelope on the left, it will show how many posts you have in that thread?!!

I just discovered that!:thumbsup2

You seemed to be doing so well with your sinuses lately. I was hoping you had gotten a good handle on things. I am really sorry you are dealing with all of this again. If all of this is due to the sanding your DH was doing....I hope he is feeling pretty guilty about things.

Yup the powder everywhere from sanding the joint compound about killed me. He did it once and left me the mess to clean up. I was mad and told him AGAIN he can't use that in the house and I shouldn't be left to clean up/breathe in the mess. He put a 2nd coat of joint compound on and I left when he was going to sand b/c I was already having problems from him doing it the 1st time. Then I come home and he used it again and left a huge mess of powder covering the kitchen, dining room and hall. He had not covered anything and left it all for me to clean up. He didn't even wipe up the floor and he tracked it to the rest of the house. I spent hours wiping everything down. Including all surfaces and trinkets. UGH We had this argument the year before when he insisted on using the power sander. He is so stubborn and it was completely insensitive. Of course I have other words used to explain the situation, but I can't post those here. Oh and my daughter has asthma. I still get angry thinking about it.

You need to look into getting you a mask. They are a pain to wear. But if it fits well it really keeps alot of that stuff out.

creativeamanda, I love your land. Nice and private the way I like it. Your garden looks great. :thumbsup2 People are just getting ready to plant here. We still have frost warnings. It was only in the 40's today and more rain.

And if he's not feeling guilty, make sure if you do throw up, you do it on him. :thumbsup2

That's gross and oddly funny all at the same time.

Well, I mean, really.....IS there anything else more appropriate for me?....;)

.

No. ;)

Soooooo......are you saying I look like a little furry flat hamster??...
:lmao:

I do believe that's what she's saying.

:rotfl:I refuse to get myself in trouble. Lets just say that you and flat do not belong in the same sentence. :lmao:

Then again, maybe not! :lmao:

I didn't know that, that's pretty cool.

Sadiedog, that's awful about you breathing in all that junk. YUCK!!!

Alright, guys, I'm heading off the DIS because well...if I don't now, I never will, and there's about a dozen library books calling my name. Never mind the things that need to be laid out for tomorrow, yadda yadda, blah blah, yackety schmackety.

Ah, the joys of motherhood.

Wouldn't trade it for the world. :thumbsup2

I have some, but they are too big for my face. I tried to cut it down, but it doesn't fit like it should. I have a small head. I am petite.

OMG my dog stunk up the entire living room. Now not only do I need a dust mask, I need a gas mask too. :scared1:

Well, y'know, big dogs, big ---

:scared:

I think what you need is a respirator that painters use - filters out dust AND odor!!:lmao:

-------------

ETA: make that "filters out dust AND noxious fumes!"
