Holy Turkey Feathers, Batman...is it already Wednesday??!!


It 's cold here this morning - 36!!!! Heat is crankin' and the coffee's flowin'! I've got to get my turkey completely thawed today. It's not all that big, compared to the 20+ pounders that DH used to get from his work! But then again, this one only has to feed the 5 of us. Plus the cats.

Our niece came last night with her boyfriend to have Thanksgiving with us. Her dad is in Germany (Army), so we are hosting. Hopefully dh and I will utilize her as a sitter tonight.

First of all, it's weird Walmart doesn't have the books--our walmart is extra coated with them.

I agree! I don't think she deserves either guy.
DD loved the books until she read the last one. Now she thinks it's all stupid. But she wants to see the movies because she has loved Taylor Lautner since he was Shark Boy. I must say, she has great taste. Though I feel a little pervy drooling over the same guy my 10 year old likes.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving--I listened to the kids play Super Mario Bros on the Wii all day.

It looks like dh and I are going to be up early to be at WalMart for Black Friday. At least I have a partner.

I haven't found any deals worth braving the stores early. I considered hitting our nearest Disney store, but with no idea of the deals, I'm not giving up sleep. There is one store near me that I will go to when I get up, but nothing at 5 a.m..

Ugh, I"m with you Mean Queen!.....shopping is not worth losing sleep over!! And of all places, I think Walmart is the worst "running of the bulls!" I do much of my shopping on-line and prefer it that way! Just deliver it to my door, thank you very much.

Thanksgiving was great! I cooked everything and it turned out well. I'm being brave and heading out for Black Friday sales. I'm going with a friend to Old Navy and maybe the Disney store. My DD10 only fits into Old Navy jeans and they're on sale for $10. Plus, you get a Lego Rockband if you spend $20.

Mornin' peeps!! It's decorating day for me here! Going to get our tree this afternoon, and I'll be digging all the Christmas boxes out of the barn loft and getting this place looking COOL! And, despite the fact that I will only have one tree and live in a small ranch house, I will post pictures later on of my results.
