So you'll have 4 adults on both trips. Where will you eat? Check out menus and prices here at wdwinfo.com, or at allears.net. See what you'll be doing. I have a family of 3; we don't eat desserts generally at WDW (ingredient issues), only I drink alcohol and that's rarely, and we're vegetarian so we're generally not ordering the expensive items on a menu. And even when DS was 6.5 and not eating anywhere near as much as he is now, we hit the savings mark on our TIW card during our first trip. It's easy to think it's only a few counter service places, but it's all the Value resort foodcourts (AOA is our fave for the veggie burger and DS LOVES the caprese sandwich), the foodcourt at SSR, the foodcourt at POFQ, and the counter service places inside Animal Kingdom park. That's not just a few, depending on your plans. We generally have one TS a day, a CS per day, and the rest of our food is from the fridge, and yet we hit the savings point pretty easily. Bonus, the CS places, of course, don't have the autogratuity added on, since they aren't tipping places. Also, while the tip for TS is added pre-discount (as it should be), the TAX is added post-discount. So that's nice.
