I plan on purchasing the TIW card in March for the first time. I don't suppose they give you a brochure with a listing of TS/CS/bars around the world who give the discount when you get your card?

That would certainly make it easier if you encountered some resistence at said TS/CS/bar. You could simply show the "official" list and be done with it!

I just thought that since Disney does something similar for the DDP they might for the TIW. Anyone know?

I was just trying to find the little booklet from a couple of years that I think I remembered having, with the list (maybe I'm thinking of something else).

Does anyone know if you can get a beer at Flame Tree BBQ with the TIW card, when you're using DDP for the food? (OOPS, just checked Pumbaa's FAQ, and it looks like the answer to this may be Yes)

Do they add the 18% at the few CS places that take the TIW?

Yes, TIW discount includes alcohol.

No tip expected or added at the few CS locations that do accept it.

I have used it at POP for awhile now...never a problem. Well, not if you discount the over zealous CM at the register who asked to see my ID. I showed her my room key..nope, not good enough. She wanted to see my license!! Ah...I don't normally carry my license with me to get breakfast at the food court. She told me someone could have found my wallet and taken my room key and my DDE card and used it..... !

I too have been asked for an ID at Pop and was once told it was expired when it wasn't with no apology when I corrected them.

We must have gotten the same CM. I just looked at her and said I don't have it with me it is in the room on the other side of the resort and finally she relented and gave me the $1.23 discount.
