Any tips of where to enjoy a sit down breakfast and still make a 9am MK opening?

I second the Wave. I haven’t been since Covid (not dining indoors right now) but it was my second favorite breakfast at Disney.

If you go to the Wave, be sure and know what you want to eat when you sit down. I've found the service to be slow there. Also, even if you make a reservation for 7:50, be there at 7:30 when they open and you'll likely get seated a little early.

I would also recommend the Grand Floridian Cafe. I love the food there !! It's not as close of a walk, but you can still walk to MK, ride the monorail, or take the boat.

How are you getting to breakfast? Remember, you can't leave your car at a hotel and take the monorail or boat to the park; you'll need to move your car to the TTC. If you go to Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge (If you can make it work I'd recommend it; good food and relatively quick service) or a monorail resort, when you're done you'll need to drive south away from the MK and make a U-turn to get back through the parking plaza. Alternatively, you could do a rideshare with dropoff at the resort where you made your breakfast reservation. If relying on Disney transportation you'd need to take a bus to the MK and then boat or monorail to breakfast. Honestly, if you want to make rope drop, I'd eat TS or QS at the resort where I was staying.

Re: your last statement--I noticed that QS mobile ordering opens at 7am where we're staying (CBR). If we have to be at the Skyliner circa 7:15am-ish to get to HS (reading the line reports for the Skyliner, this seems right) that's a crazy rush to grab Mickey Waffles and make it to the station. I'm assuming the same is really true for bus transportation to MK. What I'm asking is, is that right? Is it normal for QS breakfast to open at 7am? For some reason I remember on past trips eating earlier at the resort.

Another vote for either GF Cafe or The Wave. We did The Wave on our last visit and GF Cafe on our prior visit. You can't go wrong with either, but the Wave is closer to MK so I'll give it a preference.

Any advice on how to get to the Wave from Polynesian resort for a 7:30am reservation? Wasn’t sure if the Resort Monorail runs from TTC or if we need to walk to GF monorail.
