Our local McDonalds is currently remodeling. They're making the outside look like a Happy Meal box. Pretty cool.:D

DD was in there the other day and found out they're also doing the inside and it will eventually be a table service restaurant.

McDonald's? Table service? I'm sorry, but I do not feel like tipping at McDonalds.

Any of you have one of these?

Haven't heard of that type of McDonald's, but maybe they'll give you the option of table service? Hope so! Cool about what the outside will look like!

Ok, probably in the Minority here..but THANK GOODNESS! I hope they all start doing this.

I wont let my kids just go into the palyroom without me. Not happeneing. So I balance a tray, high chair..and two kids (soon to be three) while I try to get to the playroom with all of this.

It would be sooo much easier for me to have tableservice.

However, for those that dont have little people to watch after...maybe they shoudl offer both.

There is a fast food place called Culvers here in our town that has limited table service.

You still order and pay at the counter, but a servier brings your food to your table. I really like this. Nice for moms with little ones.

It wont work, they cant even get your food write when looking at a pitcure of fries on the register

we have several Mc Donalds in Indiana with table service. They are called McDonalds Diners. The menu has the normal McDonalds things but it also has things like club sandwiches and dinners with mashed potatoes and vegtables. To me the food is way over priced and tastes awful. They have a phone at the table that you place the order with and they bring you the food. The ones that have table service don't have play areas.

::yes:: Our Hardee's and Captain D's restaurants have table service like this. Order & pay at the counter. Waitress brings it out to you. As for tip, we leave maybe a dollar or two. They're appreciated, but not mandatory like a full-table-service place. For me, the convenience is well worth the $2!!

DH and the kids do Captain D's every Saturday. The waitress there knows them and is always so sweet to the kids. She also helps DH out by NOT bringing the cookies out until the kids are done with their meals :) That way he doesn't have to argue with the kids and try to hide the cookies :) We just LOVE that she'll do the little things to make the lunch easier.

I don't eat inside McDonald's. Too hard to get tray, 3 drinks, 2 kids, and a high-chair from the counter to the tables. PLUS, ours don't clean the play areas, so I won't let my kids in there at all! We don't go in to avoid the tears when I tell them they can't play :( But it's always SO disgusting in there....ewww!
