TA Etiquette Question

I am new to this, plus I feel like I am a nice person, BUT... Is it okay to get a quote from a TA, then do the same from a AAA TA? Some might think this a stupid question, I just want some opinions. I need to save money wherever I can. Thanks to anyone who responds!

I think that would be fine as long as you intend to book with one of the TA's from whom you obtain a quote. Not all quotes are equal and the quality of customer service differs from one agent to another. What is not acceptable is for people to obtain quotes and assistance from a TA and then use the TA's hard work and information to book the trip themselves.

I got 2 quotes from two different TA before I decided that I get the best price when booking myself.

I think it's fine to request quotes from more than 1 TA, but make sure you let the ones you're not booking with know, otherwise, they're still going to send you emails and wonder about you.

BTW - you mention maybe booking with AAA - if you're booking a package, only an AAA agent can get you their discount, therefore their price will be better. If booking room and tickets only, any TA can get you the AAA room discount.
