Does look like the monster in the Tom Baker Paris one, with John Cleese looking at the Mona Lisa and the Tardis. But better effects now.

Dalek voted scariest Who villain


The Daleks have been voted Doctor Who's scariest villains in a survey of 21,000 fans ahead of their re-appearance in the latest series on Saturday.
The Empty Child Zombies and the Beast were in second and third place.
The Daleks will feature in a two-part story set in 1930s New York, featuring David Tennant as the Doctor with his new assistant played by Freema Agyeman.
Nick Briggs, the voice behind the iconic baddies, said they "seem to have stood the test of time".


The Daleks were created by Terry Nation and first appeared on screen in 1963.
Russell T Davies, the creator of the latest series, said: "Every time the Daleks return we make them bigger and better than ever before, and this time, their plan is the most audacious Dalek scheme yet."

Although, You never know, the Emporer of all Daleks could have a metallic fetish.. : Just Kidding!!!

I totally Agree with Sec, Daleks could so whip the floor with the Cybers. Although, if Dalek Sec becomes human, that's another story!!

Well not sure, but something new, is coming last time these four Daleks were seen was at Torchwood giving the Cybermen a beating, now they used a 'time slip' to excape the vortex, to New york, but are low on materials and go to a building with lots of steel. RTD would not give out everything to Radio times.Like the Macra last week.

They need to survive and of couse would have taken onboard Cyberman technology.

Pigmen to support them as drones, sightings have been reported of blue and white..........

Aaaaaaaah that makes sense. Bit Un-dalek like, but they were in need right?

At the end of trailer 1 there was a glimpse for a second, of something Dalek like, but wrong colour, more like the old 'Movie' Daleks, one paper also has a description that the 'final experiment' includes a human/dalek hybrid, but with metal exo-skeletons.

Think back to Genesis of the Daleks with Tom Baker and Davros, working on Dalek DNA, and programming them to ensure they are never defeted. RTD, wanted to eclipse that story.
Now they give a picture up for Radio Times as Daleks get the viewers in, but he doesnt want everyone to say, well I now know the ending and the monster so ''I have seen it all''.

RTD is great in having a secret, but giving us a glimpse, THERE IS MORE.

Just watched it, and since everyone is watching it, I can't watch Confidenetal. So my post will be put up early. Here my thoughts, in now particular order.

Tallulah reminds me too much of my Bugsy Malone Days. I am sorry but the new york accent is so funny. (No offence to anyone!)

Sewer in Dressing room? only in new york!

Ahh Pig Men, classic. I guessed it would be Dalek Experimentation in this.

Statue of liberity, oooooooh.

Nice discussion about the depression, it's nice to get history in there. LOL Martha being cheeky..

Hooverville? Ooh I learnt about the Great depression! Obviously weren't paying attention, for I couldn't remember that....

Aaah classic story, Human wants control, Daleks use him in the end, same all same old!

Nice they got the empire state building as Dalek stuff. Rivets? I was thinking they were there to look purdy. RTD says the mast actually looks like that!

Not good masking this time, you could see the plasticness on one of them!!!

Thought the thing was a jellyfish... But you had to know it was a dalek... That could explain why there were only 3 daleks at any one point, perhaps the fourth died?

I was expecting a chase in the tunnnel, and I knew that the dude would be killed (ok, he didn't, capture is close enough). You see these things, I tell ya!

Girl with gun, I was But was so funny it was a prop!

The Show was so funny, how Ironic it was about angels and devils with the whole human going bad. "You Put the Devil in me..."

Did you see Dalek Sec? Nice blobby CGI. That must of been one painful birth. How did he fit int here anyway?

My Thought doing that: Dalek Sec Singing "I Wanna Have Your Babies"

Aaaaaaah Hoverville was the Primative town in the advert I thought of! I was wondering what that was! All I know is that he is going to be EXTERMINATED!

Poor suckers on the top, most likely be made into Pig men later on.

Evolution? Sounds too much like Pokemon to me..
