T.T.S's Doctor Who Series 3 Thread! Hope you had Fun! See you next Christmas!

The actaul Radio times for next week is out today confirms that Weakest link Doctor who is on next Friday 8.30pm and the new Doctor Who series starts Saturday 31st, my guess 7pm, after the new Jospeh show, but online RT doesnt confirm.

There is a collum of quotes from Doctor Who team in the new RT, from David Tennent to Produces etc. Back page of this issue says the RT out 27th March has 14 pages of Doctor Who in a special.

RT confirms Rhino like Judon in the first episode, set in a hospial where Martha works as a trainee doctor and it gets sent to the moon.

DT talks about working in the Globe for the shakespear episode that follows.

Hey guys, (Sorry Maz!) Doctor Who is Finally Confirmed Confirmed by the Beeb now! It's the 31st of March, 7pm I guess they wanted to clear up everything before they said what the first transmittion was...

Did you see the reports today! Lots of press coverage, and we have found out that David Tennant has not confirmed or denyed that he's leaving.. He says he doesn't want to do a Blair and admit he's leaving before he does.. ;)

Also, that Peter Davison Show is on tonight and is the final ep, so don't forget to watch! I sadly will be waiting for the repeat, since Hotel Babylon is on..

And don't forget to check the Doctor Who Webby. They have a counter to series 3, and they are showing lots of things on it! Check it out here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ Can't Wait!!! :goodvibes:

Laurs: Starting to wonder if we will actually get Sontarans in this Ep, since I have heard otherwise. pixiedust: I hope it is!!

Maz: Advice.. Just turn the telly on anyway! In our family if anyone talks, moves or does anything the rule is either to shut up or just go away!! :lmao: When Doctor Who is on, NOTHING else counts!!!! :rotfl2:

Well at least we know!! I hope there will be a repeat before the 2nd episode. I could set the DVD recorder, but will probably forget in the excitement(:rotfl: ) of going to my mother in law's!

Seen a bit on the TV too!!!:)

Was going to post yesterday but boards down, lots was on the official DW site yesterday worth a look, Yes Radio times shows 7pm 31st ITV doing Harry potter again to try to knock it.

Lots on breakfast and Newsround today and on BBC news website.

I do like David Tennant, hope he doesn't go just yet.

How many regenerations are left for the Dr.?

I think its 13, but in trial of a time lord the Valleyard was the doctor somewhere between 11/12?

PS, I think DT is going at the end of this series! Maybe talked into Christmas special, but the 'Master' might finish him off, he has done that before.

Tennant 'in full fourth series'
TV Series NewsMarch 23, 2007 • Posted By John Bowman
David Tennant has signed a one million pound deal to appear in the entire fourth series of Doctor Who, according to the Daily Mirror today.

The newspaper says: "Despite false reports suggesting the 35-year-old would bow out halfway through next year's run, insiders have revealed he will film the full 13 episodes."

According to a source: "To be honest, David was never going anywhere. He loves to create an air of mystery about his role in Doctor Who, and when he might leave, so he's happy for people to speculate about his departure.

"But the truth is he's finished filming the third series and he's signed a contract to appear in the whole of the next series. That will see him filming throughout 2008. It's brilliant for the show and the fans."

NB: The Mirror story contains a minor spoiler.

WooHoo:banana:

The Sun reports today that a spin off cartoon series will be on CBBC from April, and will have all of the current stars speaking their own parts and RTD says they can go to more exotic new alien worlds.

PS

One week to go!

We have just got our tickets through for the preview of the Dr Who exhibition at Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry :cool1: - it's on Friday night (the first full day of the exhibition is timed to co-incide with the new series). I bought the tickets on the basis that the kids love the series but secretly I am more excited than them:banana: Must remember to set Sky+ for the weakest link!

This has just started showing on BBC America. I think we've only got the first season so far. The last episode had Mr. Eccleston doing a runner. Too bad, because we really like him. We can't wait to see more. :thumbsup2

On BBC DW websire today:-

You knew the date. Now you know the time.

To all of you who have been emailing in to say, "I'm going on holiday and need to set the video - when's it on?", we can now reply, "Why are you going on holiday on the most important day of the year?"

Seriously, it's now been confirmed by BBC Scheduling that episode one of Doctor Who, Smith And Jones, can be seen on BBC One at 7pm on Saturday 31 March 2007.

We're staying in to watch it, then rushing around to put exciting things on the website afterwards.

Also as the start date was changed.

Everything comes to those who wait...

Due to the changing launch date of the new series of Doctor Who on BBC One, issue 381 of Doctor Who Magazine, containing an extensive feature on the making of Smith and Jones, will now be published one week later than previously advertised, on Thursday 5 April.

This is so that readers don't discover what happens in the episode before they get the chance to see the story on television!

Subsequent issues will all be bumped by a week too.

The next DWM Special Edition, In Their Own Words Volume 3: 1977-1981 has also moved its publication date, to Thursday 19 April.

We'll have more details on both of these very soon.

The Shakespeare Code Programme Info
Saturday March 24 2007

BBC Programme Information have released details of episode two of the third series.

"For Martha's first trip in the Tardis, the Doctor takes her back in time, to Elizabethan England, as the third series of Russell T Davies's Doctor Who continues.

When they find William Shakespeare under the control of deadly witch-like creatures, they must battle forces from the dawn of the universe to stop history being changed for ever.

David Tennant plays the Doctor and Freema Agyeman plays his new companion, Martha Jones. Dean Lennox Kelly guest stars as William Shakespeare."

Doctor Who – The Shakespeare Code airs Easter Saturday 7 April, 6.55pm on BBC ONE

Oh it does,

First one to get the tardis powers out of Rose,
Second one to transfer DNA and inprint it on Martha,
Thid one will be that Doctor Who runs out of excuses, proves he is a dirty old man and just wants to snog a younger girl.

Its also in DT's contract, at least one snog per season, ( beware captain Jack!)
