I want to make matching shirts for us to wear for our Christmas trip to WDW. I especially want to wear them at MVMCP which will be 7 pm to midnite. Should I make them on t-shirts or sweatshirts? I know it will be warm during the day but thought it might be cold at night. Any suggestions? I'd hate to make the t's and then end up covering them up with sweaters, etc.

One idea: If you make t-shirts, bring long sleeve t's/ turtlenecks or the like to put on underneath if it gets cold.

I am going to MVMCP on November 27, what day will you be there? I was also considering getting matching sweatshirts for my mom and I to wear that night, the only thing I have to do is get her to agree to wear it:santa:

I'd go with the t-shirts instead of the sweatshirts. We're in Wisconsin and go to WDW in winter and the weather seems SOOO warm to us! :cool2:

We have gone at that time for the last 6 years. It is almost always cool in the evening. Two years ago we needed coats. We're from Michigan so it's not like we're not used to cold. But you just never know. I like the idea to put something under them if it's cold. Get t-shirts a size bigger for everyone.

My vote is sweatshirts. We're also hardy Michiganders! We were there the first week of De '06 and were actually wearing those cheap one size fits all gloves!

I say sweatshirts!! We travel from Scotland, and even us hardy Scots were freezing in the evenings (and during the day sometimes!!)

Sweatshirts here too! They're fun to make and will layer well under and over different items. Very versatile.

I want to cast a vote for zip-front hooded sweatshirts! They are our favorite style--you can have a design on the back AND on the "pocket" area. Since you'd wear a shirt under them, you can wear the same hooded sweatshirt the whole trip.

T-shirts. If it is warm, you can wear them by themselves. If it is cold, you can wear something underneath. We were there in Dec 2005 & it was very cold. We all ended up buying sweatshirts or jackets. But, we also had matching t-shirts that we wore over the sweatshirts/jackets.

I think the hooded jackets are a great idea as well. I also thought about maybe along sleeve tshirt maybe? I personally wouldn't do a sweatshirt just b/c if it is warm you won't want to wear it. just my opinion.

:goodvibes Another vote for sweat shirts. Im going to also do matching sweat shirts, what color are you doing? I was thinking white?:confused3

Snow white 325 I'll be their on the:santa: 27th too:cool1: IM SOOO EXCITED!
Nettii:goodvibes

I think I'll do white shirts with the spiral mickey heads sprayed with red and green paint. What kind of design ideas do you have, netti?

Hi Karlibug-I didnt have a design idea yet but I like yours.:cutie: Last year we did white ringer T's white navy blue colors and arm bands and I put some iron on embroidered patches on and they were very cute. :) Id like some thing Christmasy:santa: so we look cute for our pics. I guess I ll have to start giving it some thought and Ill keep you posted when I decide.
today is 100 days till our Nov trip!:cool1:

I have to agree with the tshirts and a long sleeve for underneath. Southern weather is unpredicatable. Some years we are all in sweaters in our Christmas pics, and some year we're in shorts and tshirts. I'm going for Thanksgiving, and I'm taking tshirts, and a zip up fleece jacket for cool snaps.

By the way, we are on our 7th straight day of 100+ degree weather here in MS. I'm looking forward to wearing sweatshirts!

I agree with the t's as it gives yout he ability to wear warmer clothes underneath but if it is warm you will not want to wear them. Was there 1st week of Dec 06. Was warm and we got some rain. Bring rain gear
