NewLittleMinnie made me an awesome awesome and I mean AWESOME t-shirt design. (Did I mention it was awesome?)

But I have a question about using the transfer paper to iron it to my shirt.

Someone mentioned I should go to amymickey site and order from her, because she has some really good paper that will transfer to dark color shirts. My question is: my printer doesn't print the color white, so if I transfer to a non-white shirt, does that mean that Mickey's gloves and eyes will now be royal blue (or red, or orange)?

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Thanks

David

the background of dark transfer paper is white so all white will stay white....I used Amy's on every color shirt including white, royal blue, olive, etc.

light transfer paper is clear and using that would make all white in a DISign be the color of the shirt....Amy only sells dark transfer paper

Nope, you'll be fine. The dark color papers are white and opaque, so the whites, while they don't "print" will be white. The trick here is perfect trimming - because the paper is and transfers white, any edge you leave on the design will also transfer. I have purchased Amy's paper, and it is great, takes a little patience to cut and handle, but makes beautiful shirts that wash and wear well. Good luck!!
