For T-Rex will they take Disney Gift Cards? Also does the RFC Safari Club still get priority seating or is it best to get a reservation? Do they do call ahead seating? We really have no idea when we will be going during our trip. TIA

I would make a reservation online for a day - pick a day. It is like the Rainforest Cafe - you will wait if you don't have a reservation. I don't know about the gift cards.

have more selection by calling the restaurant directly. They use the term Priority Seating (sounds familiar). That puts you in the line for a table. The line usually has a few families in it.

You don't have to call as far ahead as most Disney restaurants if you call direct.

When you call I would ask the question about the Disney cards. I suspect they might not take them. I was going to put our meal on our room but that involved getting a manager involved which would have added time. You can put the bill on your room but I had a credit card which was a simpler way to go.

I know they do not take the Dining Plan whether or not they take the Disney GC you'll have to ask them.

On our last trip and our upcoming trip I ordered T-Rex and Rain Forest GC from their web site.

In case anyone else was interested, T Rex did take the Disney gift cards and we got priority seating and discount with the RFC club card. :)

Thanks, that's good to know because I plan to use a Disney Gift Card to pay for our meal the evening we have dinner there. :thumbsup2

Thank you! I'd suppose that RFC also would then? I am planning on using a Disney gift card to pay for my meals when I'm there in Sept. Does anyone know if the restaurants at Swan/Dolphin accept the Disney gift cards? What about Portobellos, House of Blues, Paradiso 37, and Bongos? I usually use the DDP, but want to try restaruants that don't take the DDP this trip.
