We had an ADR, and still waited outside in the sun for 40 minutes. Very unimpressed.
They have a few lines. One to get on the list or let them know you're on the list.
*If you have a card they should have a different line or you go right to the front of the line and show your card and they will go from there*
Once you're on the list or have let them know you're there, you wait to go to the line for seating.
With the card we sometimes still have a wait to get called to that line. But we are called before others without a card.
Then you're in the line to be seated. We've had the longest time waiting in that line. The card doesn't help then, because you were already called earlier to that line because of the card.
And ADRs at most places don't mean immediate seating, because they don't kick people out of their seats. They estimate how long people will eat, and go from that to make the ADR times. If people are dawdling, it changes the timing. So next time you're dawdling over dessert, remember that you might be changing the timing for others who are waiting.
Do you get the birthday reward each year??
Yes.
How does the Landry card work if you are on the dining plan and are using credits not cash
If you had no ADR it would get you to the line to be seated first, but you wouldn't use your rewards or get any benefit on the bill. Because you would have dining credits to cover that.
