We will be at WDW the end of April and are thinking about going to this restaurant.

We loved it. It is basically a Rainforest Cafe with a dinosaur theme. It can get loud, but it was lots of fun and the food was fantastic! Be forewarned, however, that the portions are HUGE.

We loved the food (triceretops filet, waffle fries, grilled veggies), the atmosphere was great, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Build A Dino Workshop was awesome and since ds 9 did not choose clothes it only cost us about $16 for his dino.

Thanks for noting that....since it's not on the dining plan....we will be sure to do our "sharing" of entrees!

I would love to include this in our plans for our trip. Something my ds would love for sure! and a good tip on large portions!!!

Portions are definitely large, I had the boneyard buffet (think that's the name, it was in Nov) and it was half a rack of ribs, half a rotisserie chicken. garlic mashed potatoes and baked beans. I shared with my 13 YODD and the 11YO DD also ate off of it in addition to her kids meal.

Anxious to try it when we go in May. Called yesterday & got a ressie for May 23 for DS's birthday trip. He will be 12 so I don't expect we'll be building any dinosaurs but am looking forward to the overall theme of the restaurant.

My Parents & my son did and all loved it. I can't wait going in Aug.

Hi All...

We have been to T-Rex...but not this location. It was VERY VERY fun...our 3 year old had a blast!!

I don't know if WDW one is like this...but I assume they are all the same pretty much.

Inside, there is a Build a Bear Workshop...but it is Build a Dinosaur...so cute and so fun. Yes, bit expensive, but we were on vacation, so this was his "souvenior " (sp?). He STILL sleeps with his dino, and plays with him...we got him a super hero costume.

They also have a "dig" site where your kids and you if you want can go in this giant sandbox and dig for bones...it looked cool (messy!!)...we didn't go in that...you do have to pay extra to do this I believe, but wasn't bad in price.

I will try to attach some photos of the one we were at if I can find them quick...

ENJOY!! You will have fun...although, yes, it is LOUD and food portions are VERY generous.

I can't get the photos to upload at this moment...will try again in a little bit. I don't have any of the food...but thought I would should you a bit of the inside...

We ate there last week and agree that the portions are huge. My DBF had the sample platter with the ribs. He's a picky eater and really enjoyed it excpet for the cheese sauce with the chips. I had the nachos and I enjoyed them except for the cheese sauce. I think it was two kinds of cheese and one tasted like cheese whiz or something. I would get them again and ask for only shredded cheese. It probably sounds silly to some but I was really disappointed in the cheese. The place was something else. A must do in my book.

We were there on 2/12 and liked it pretty well.

There were 10 of us, and pretty much no complaints. As someone said before, it can be pretty loud, but the kids really enjoyed it.

I will post a review hopefully by the end of the week with our meal choices and some pics.

We were just there on Saturday night and had a blast! Check out my review under Reviews, the 3 pescetarians and 2 Omnivores one.
