Almost everything on the menu is allowed EXCEPT the items marked "for 2" must be ordered by 2 people on the plan to share. And those fabulous huge desserts (the volcano thing for example) require 4 people's dessert credits to order. So if there's only 3 or less in your party you can't order the volcano. However, there are some "for 2" desserts that can be shared by 2 people on the dining plan. And the single-serving desserts are huge, by the way.
We went to Rainforest in Feb. got smoothies as my drink and also we were only a party of 3 which was 2- adults and 1-child on the DDP and we were offered the volcano dessert. It was one of our favorit meals we ate at the one at Animal Kingdom and service and food was really good!
Does T-Rex take reservations? I tried reserving online but there is no availability for our whole trip so I was wondering if they are just that popular or don't take reservations online.

More than likely. They are still owned by Landry, they just accept DDP as payment as well. It may be a good idea to call them just to be sure, but I'd put the probability in the 95+% range (I don't have their number handy, but you can Google or search the boards for it.)
