what's everyone doing or planning to do about toddlers and hand sanitizers?

why would you not want mousekeeping...wouldnt that keep the room cleaner?

B/c if they use the same rag to clean Mr Smith's room and Mr Smiths family is sick then the germs are being brought into my room. Also, if mousekeeping is carrying a flu virus or any other type of sickness, it is coming into my room.

My DD is 4 and we did use the alcohol based hand sanitizers on her, but we also had the Saniwipes as well. I still have a whole bunch of them.

I thought it was a little eerie when I walked into Toys R Us today and they had signs all over to "COVER YOUR COUGH" and a little picture of how to cover your cough....

Our church stopped handing out the H. Com. by hand.
There now placed in separate plastic cups at the entrance of our church.

As I saw this cups I immediately thought of them germ spreading refill mugs and other containers that people use in Disney.
You only need one person that carries the germ and a spread out is almost guaranteed.

we just went to wdw june 1-6 and we did not come home sick....we used purell after EVERY ride and washed our hands before we ate...even my 3 yr old...she even knows not to put her hands in her mouth,not to touch hand rails and not to touch the public potty before one of us cleans it off with a wipe! We didnt get sick at all..we kept the gel in our pocket so we didnt forget to use it and dd knew to wash her hands when we went to the bathroom.I DID see alot of people that were coughing and some kids with snotty noses but we didnt CATCH anything.We also cleaned our room ourselves and I sprayed down our room with lysol when we checked in.

The Swine Flu us just like the Regular Flu. 36K people a year die from the ordinary flu. Personally it's just another way fro pharm companies to make money. People most susceptible are those with compromised immune systems. Using hand sanitizer and wiping stuff down with Clorox wipes is a good idea anyway. Not touching your mouth, ears and nose is also a good idea. Not much else you can do to prevent yourself from getting sick.
