I used to be a image consultant. It was fun! I love fashion and makeup and the whole nine yards! I know what looks good on most body types. I try to dress for my body type also. That's why I did recommend the sarong for you. It's very sliming and covers alot of problem areas that we may think we have. BTW can you see the link?

What is an image consultant, never heard of that occupation! I love fashion and make up too!! Yes, I can see the link, pretty bathing suit, I like simple attire, they are elegant and classy!! Good choice!

Aw, bless your heart! I agree with everyone.... wear your swimsuit! You will draw way more attention to yourself wearing the frumpy clothes. They make so many cute, flowing sundresses now and you could use one as a cover-up too! Have fun and no worries!!!!

I am a size 2 and I wear a bikini usually. When my tummy gets puffy from all the salt and vacation food, I wear a tankini. I wear what's comfortable to me. Screw everyone else.

Ooookayyyyy ... that suit with the bra top is not what I expected.

Right now I feel like my leg is being pulled. First of all, that suit does not seem to come in a size 22 and secondly I don't think someone who would have "men's trunks and a tee-shirt" as a back-up would wear a traditional bikini that exposes their butt and belly like that.

Just to make things clear ... if someone is a size 22 and they can rock a traditional bikini ... YOU GO GIRL! I have seen many women bigger than me love their bodies enough where they completely sell the sexy swimwear. But I just can't see that from someone whose second choice is wearing a men's swim trunks and a t-shirt. The two are complete extremes.

Here's my opinion as a 42 yr old male.


If the suit fits and is "classy", nobody worth your while will judge you.

I personally do have a problem with "pooh-sized" women that try to squeeze into a bikini or into suits that do not fit. Whether that's fair on not, it's just that way it is.

When is your next trip?

I know you were not talking to me ... but my next trip is in mid-August. I'll be wearing my Land's End tankini when splashing with my swim-team DD. I am VERY lucky to live in Wisconsin and have the Land's End Inlet (with Outlet sections) nearby. The big Land's End Warehouse sale is this weekend. I am thinking about driving the 45 minutes to Dodgeville to see what they have tomorrow. I have been losing weight since I bought my bottoms last year and I think I might need a smaller size .

Girlfriend, I got hips, thighs and a booty on me! I have decided that I don't care what others think, and I'm going to wear my TWO piece suit!!

Probably AKL! We fell in love with that resort! But we were also looking at The Poly and The Contemporary, just because they are on the monorail. We'll see!!!!!
