Swim Vests

Are the swim vests available at Typhoon Lagoon large enough for a non-swimming almost 8 year old who weighs about 65 pounds?

They have several sizes of life vests...I'm sure one of the sizes will fit your (not-so) little one.

Just be sure to get there early, because they run out quickly. We were there on a VERY LIGHT DAY, and I had to come back a couple of times to finally get one for my 3-year old...

Just a word of warning. My DS5 (at the time) used a swim vest at Typhoon Lagoon last fall and woke up the next morning with a rash all over his chest, shoulders and back. We spent the morning at a QuickCare facility near DTD instead of at MK. The doctor gave us a couple of prescriptions that cleared up the rash in a couple of days.

I suppose he had some kind of reaction to the cleaner they use.
