Swim Nappies

Does anyone know if the swim nappies that you get in the US are the same as the Huggies ones that you can get here? I am just wondering about the sizes etc as Shelby is a bit of a weed and they were always too big for her, then we could have the opposite problem with Harley, so wondering whether to take some from home instead?

Have you not bought the reuseable swim nappies?
We bought one from Boots when we went to Tenerife,they are really handy,and they dont leak etc.
All you do is rinse it through and pop it out to dry and its ready again for the next swim.
Not only is it handy hun but it's also cuts the cost.

Thanks Beth, I hadn't thought about that option, most likely Shelby will be potty trained by then anyway as she is doing really well now, but I would rather be safe than sorry in the pool.

Do you put liners in them then?

Would never have thought I would have posted on a 'nappy thread' but they do sell Huggies 'little swimmers' in Publix supermarket and also Walgreen's too.

I know because we used to get them for Josh.

Nope hun its all in there whats needed.
They are very economical etc and easy to us.
And you buy the size of your child. they have adjustable straps/velcro plus cord

What my DH failed to mention was that Joshua used to use them but now he uses a reusable pair of pants which are very comfortable under his swim shorts.

Some hotels are quite strict and will insist that you buy a pair of pants for the under 3s from their poolside shop. When Joshua was very young a lady approached us to tell us that their hotel policy was that he had to wear a pair of pants under his shorts or he could not go into the pool.
