Ok so it is officially swim season. Both my daughters love the pool. My youngest daughter can not seem to find goggles that will actually work for her. They all seem to leak!! Please help us find a pair. She is 10 if that helps. Her poor eyes burn so much. She wants goggles not a mask.

Thank you!

OMG I went thru this last Summer with my 10 year old!! I think we tried every pair of goggles I could fit. He ended up loving his brother's favorite pair. Big surprise. ;) They came from CVS. I got in the car & bought every pair they had! :) Best part they were on Clearance. I think they were $5. Usually $15 I think.

Good luck! Hope she finds some she likes!

Where do you live? You need to go to a swim store and have her fitted. Goggles are very personal, and they make many different kinds to work with different face shapes and eye sockets.

In the DC area Aardvark is a store that has a whole rack of try on goggles.

My DD13 finds Speedo goggles work the best for her. I typically get a 3 pack of them at Costco each year. Somehow we never make it thru a season without them going missing. Target also carries Speedo.

We also buy the packs at coStco- great value!!!

DS really likes his Speedo Baja Jr goggles. First kind we've had that don't leak, work well, and don't leave enormous red rings around his eyes.

I have another vote for Speedo, but for the Jr Vanquisher model. I bought them for myself (I have a small head lol) at SwimOutlet.com. Then my 10 yr old son took them over and loves them too, says I have to buy my own now. :rotfl: Also bought my other kids Speedo as well, on amazon, and they love them too. Good luck!

At the pool one day my son borrowed my Speedo Women's Vanquishers and loved them. He's 8 and on the swim team for the first time this year and those are the goggles he uses in practice and races. For a slightly less cushioned and expensive pair, try Swim Outlet's Women's Sporti. They work almost as well and are a lot less expensive.

As an adult I've been swimming for 14 years (after a 10 year break) and these are the only 2 goggles I like.

We just got Speedos for my kids at TJ Maxx for $5 in the clearance section! Woohoo! Work great so far (have only tested them in the bathtub so far! Lol)

I agree with a previous poster that if she really has a hard time getting ones she likes, go to a swim store and get fitted. Definitely get the bungee cord, so much easier to adjust. As a side note, my DD wears glasses so we were able to get her magnifying goggles so she can actually see when she swims! We didn't get a prescription, just a pair in stock. Best $20 I've spent for her in a long time.

We have a pool and many of my kids friends are on swim team. The gave brand around here is Tyr. And they are not much more than the Speedos.

I have one kid that likes TYR (we get them at our rec center for $8), and the other likes Speedo. The other brands we've tried tend to leak.
