I used this product today for the first time. It did a good job. I usually use the vacuum cleaner to dust, but this seem to go alot faster.

DH's only comment was how much do THOSE cost?
I got the box of 5 (w/ a handle) at WalMart for $3.78.

However, I had to use 3 of them to do 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room & family room. That included all the furniture, knick knacks & ceiling fans & TV/stereo equipment & computer area.

I hadn't dusted in a while, so it was pretty dusty.

How far should I expect to get with 1 duster? Any cost saving tips?

I love them. One usually does me for two bedrooms living and dining room. Hunt around online for coupons. To me they are worth the cost, they are so effective. I also absolutely love their floor mop.

I like them to do a once over in between when I really dust. I find the dust comes back much more quickly using just these as opposed to a spray and cloth. When I stay on top of it I'm able to do our house (family room, living room, dining room and 3 bedrooms) with 2 of them. The trick is to periodically refluff the puff sheet as you're going along and it will last longer.

I use them to dust the blinds and in areas where it is hard for me to bend and/or reach with a cloth. It's true that you get better dusting/polishing with cloth and spray, but this helps a lot. It also keeps me from sniffling and sneezing so much - all the loose dust gets picked up before it reaches my nose!!!!

I love them as well. The only thing I do not like is you have to purchase another wand with a package instead of just a box of refills. They work very well in the car too!

I aree that I hate to have to buy another wand - but I saw a recent newspaper ad for one of our local supermarkets and said it was a box of Swiffer duster refills - probably less money since no wand!!!!! Hope I can find them!!!!

I love these too and I have bought just refills and it was very recently. It was a box of 10, don't remember how much though. You do have to dust more often than with cloths, but it's great when you need to do a quick cleaning job. I also love it for glass shelves, our new house has tons of built in glass shelves and I have nothing on them yet, so the dust is even more obvious!

Thanks, didn't realize the dust will come back faster. I wonder why that is?

I wasn't using polish before since I was using the vacuum to dust. I gave up using polishes years ago regularly due to the waxy buildup. I just use them one in a while to give a shine.

Where can you find just the refill boxes? I didn't realize I was going to have to keep buying wands.

I love 'em too. Found the refill box with no wand at our local supermarket, I think they just started selling them that way.

I don't notice the dust coming back faster, in fact I find it easier to dust shelves of knick-knacks, deep corners, etc with them than with a cloth, so I use them for everything now.

Of course, I'm a sucker for anything that makes cleaning (especially dusting, I have an old carpet and a dog so dust reappears much too quickly!) go faster!

Hi There Joanne!:D
I love these too. I use them along with the vacuum. I buy the refills in Stop & Shop. I shake them out every so often (outside) while I'm dusting. They go a lot farther that way.
Have you been out at Sesuit this summer?
Say Hi to Scott, we will have to catch up soon!

Thanks everyone. I also found on their website a trick for getting the duster REALLY fluffy. I hadn't fluffed mine THAT much --- so maybe it'll go a little further next time. And as Lynn suggested, I'll try shaking the dust off too outside.

BTW Lynn, Scott actually went out of the harbor today w/ 2 friends from here. He's just there for the day. He did call & say he saw my brother. But my dad was out doing a charter. Dad's charter boat is for sale. (He's getting old.) We've only been down about 3 times I think this summer.

I got hooked on these when Target had them 2/$5 with the wands. I love them...keep one upstairs and one downstairs. :)

I've also found just refills, but I don't remember where I bought them.
