SWGE....which first- help me plan please

So.... if we have a group heading to DHS for one day only, they want to experience SWGE..... but also the rest fo the park as they can- they plan to arrive around 8 am for a 9 am park opening- should they plan to head straight to SWGE,try to ride the ride,then head to Slinky Dog dash? They will only have 30 day out FP option,so those are always gone anyway..... does the Falcon ride even have FP yet?
so plan (general) is head straight to SWGE, hard to know ,but guesstimate it'll take about 3 hours? so they shouldn't book any other FP till after lunch,does this sound about right? They want to stay thru the fireworks show later- so first FP planned should be around 1 or so? advice please.... I haven't been since the newer stuff opened there.

first off can you tell us when you are coming?
If it's before Dec 5th I would say leave SWGE for the end of the night, the lines die down considerably after 7pm.
If it's after Dec 5th which is when Rise of the resistance opens (the second attractions) we really don't know how the crowds will be
None of the SWGE will have fp for now

obviously go to the things you want to go to, I'm just saying the evening is the best time to go cause most people will rope drop the land. It's been this way since it opened, the busiest time is morning and afternoon and then dies down in the evening. If Fantasmic is a priority you could still squeeze it in

The OP stated they will arrive 1hr arrival before park open, why not go straight to SWGE? EEMH would have ended before his trip. So I think the dynamics will change.

Unless people are lining up over 1hr early I would still think they would be front of the pac.

We will be going during EEMH at the end of the month. Our plan will be to get to park opening around 530am, head straight to SGWE and ride MFSR, than move to TSL to ride the stuff there, than towards 8am go back to SGWE for breakfast and shops, etc.

Chimoe, we kind of have the same plan. We are planning on a 7 a.m. EMH at DHS on Thanksgiving Day. I hope we can be there between 6-6:15 a.m., and our plan is to head straight for MFSR. After that, we will do TSM, ToT, and RnRC. Once rides are done, we will go back to SWGE to look around. (ST and SDD are another day.) Night might be better, but I didn't want to give up the night entertainment at the other parks, and we have a short trip.
