Sweet Tea and Sundrop

I drink unsweet tea now (trying to lose weight) but I absolutely love sweet tea!!! YUM!!! My fave sweet tea is the tea my mom makes w/hot water and lots of sugar. But my 2nd fave sweet tea is Milo's Sweet tea!!! Also, the tea at McAllister's Deli is to die for!!!!

Can anyone confirm that tea (even the unsweetened kind for DH) counts as a snack under the dining plan?? He prefers unsweet tea to Diet Coke.

And does anyone remember seeing caffiene-free (sp?) Coke?

Not a southerner here but they serve sweet tea at Liberty Tree Tavern. That's the only place in the world that you can get it. Last week, I must have drank about 4 glasses with my meal. I told the waiter I was so thirsty because it was so hot outside but really, I just loved the tea! DD drank her fair share of it too!

That is great as long as they serve unsweetened tea as well. My biggest complaint is places that only serve sweet tea and no unsweetened tea. Since they also don't carry diet soda with Splenda I end up with nothing to drink. We have walked out of restaurants because of this. BTW my husband loves his sweet tea.

Other vote for Milo's sweet tea in ALabama. I am glad to see that LTT has sweet tea, but do any CS restaurants have it in WDW.

Nope! Sorry it's coke or coke product or bottled water. All the places we found you had to get bottled drink as snack, no fountain drinks. Do you like Crystal Lite? Have you tried the individual Crystal Lite packs. We used these several times and would get the bottled water and then add Crystal Lite to it. I'm not much on carbonated beverages .... that is except for SUNDROP!!!

OK, this little review is just for you MrsTink04.... You can find a thousand Disney restaurant reviews but I bet this is the only one you will find on this board with a Black BBQ Review from Gastonia NC. As I mentioned earlier, I gave Black's a try Saturday. We were there around 2pm and it was still packed for lunch. You can tell the best places to eat from the crowds they say. I ordered the large minced BBQ sandwich and a Cherry Lemon Sun-Drop. Husband was not very hungry and just does not appreciate the BBQ SLAW so I ate about 1/2 of his too!!!! Good thing I didn't order fries with that. The sandwich was GREAT! Better than I remember. Being a RO's fan here, I was very impressed that their BBQ Slaw was so similiar only better than RO's. However, I was disappointed in my Cherry Lemon Sundrop. Normally, I would have ordered Sweet Tea but since I was thinking of you MrsTink04 I went ahead and tried the C-L-S. It was OK but I prefer to have real marachino cherries in my drink not cherry flavored drink. All in all I give it two thumbs up!

Where have you been eating? I've NEVER found a place that had sweet without unsweet....
