Sweet Sixteen on the Dream! The Good, the Bad, and the Crazy!

Lovin the updates and I really love your little cow pictures. (we are dairy farmers) I have actually been thinking of doing something like this on my upcoming trip. I'll be alone, so I thought I would take one of DD's plushies and take photos and put something together for her.

We did this one year at Disney World with "my Mom". Gramma happens to look like Merriwether (The Blue Fairy from Sleeping Beauty) so we found a little one just the size of your moo cow and she got in a lot of pictures. Aurora even cuddled her. Jungle Cruise, Everest, pool, etc. We then gave her the pictures in a special book. It was great.

That would be so cute! Another idea for you could be, to get a large pic of your DD and put on a craft stick, and take some pics with that.

As we get ready to make our way back to the ship, we browse through the gift shop

I thought this T shirt was So cute!!

As we get ready to enter back onto the ship, DD runs into a few kids from the teen club, and they decide to meet back up after we go back to the room and get changed.

We get back to the room and I find a few goodies in our FE.

Also, at the top of my FE, I found a card from DCL. Here's my next "bad" moment as suggested in my title
(I would actually call this "semi-bad" because it wasn't anyone's fault)

Not sure if you can see it clear enough, but it's a note saying our Snorkeling excursion for Nassau got cancelled!!

So I get dressed and head down to guest services to see if I could get another excursion.

I went to guest services and talked to the CM about the excursions that they had left available. There wasn't really anything that interested us. There was only a couple things that weren't full, so I decided we would just skip an excursion for Nassau, but that was something we really wanted to do because since we've been to Nassau before, we weren't interested in doing anything off the ship, other than snorkeling.

So I just decided to schedule the Catamaran Snorkeling at Castaway Cay (for our 2nd stop there).



Since I was by myself again until time to go to the show & dinner, I just walked around and hung out for a while. I ran upon Daisy!! Again, another character opportunity without DD!

I walked through Cabanas but since I wasn't going to eat, I just took a few pics

I went to Cove Cafe and chilled out there a little bit.

Walking through Shutters. I love how they have this set up to view your pics. But it was a total mob scene on the last night of the cruise!!!!

Tonight's show was Villians. We enjoyed it! especially the Genie charcter. He was very funny!

Rachel comes out to introduce the show and chit chat with the audience.

I don't remember these guys' names, but they were pretty funny. They came out & did a "pre-show" comedy type thing.

The blue guy comes out into the audience and sits down next to DD!!!
This was so funny. He was saying something to her, but all I could really hear him say was "Will you marry me?"

After the show, while we were waiting for our dining to start, we just walked around taking a few pics

Dining tonight would be at Enchanted Garden

I didn't get but a couple food pics from that night.

My DD decided to ditch me again after dinner, which was fine with me cause I was planning to go back to Evolution night club.

Soon as we split up, wouldn't you know it, I ran into another character by myself!

So I went to Evolution, she went to Vibe, and of course, I arrived at the room before her, as usual, so I got me some room service!

One thing I wanted to mention in my TR, was how LONG it took for us to finish at dinner. They were just taking too long. I really didn't want to spend 2hours each night to eat. I had read in previous TR's about taking so long at the dinners. We just kinda had to keep our patience about it, but we did skip dinner one of those nights, and also left a little early on another night. It just shouldn't take that long!!!!!!

Hello! I am new to the cruise forums. My daughter actually asked for a Disney Cruise for her 16th birthday next year. I was so excited when I saw the title to your trip report. We have never been on a cruise of any kind but have been to WDW many times and just came back from our first trip to DL.

I was a single mom until my daughter was 10 and have many wonderful memories of our trips to WDW alone. I am enjoying your trip report very much and it is making remember how special those trips were. Thank you for that! I can't wait to read more.

I didn't think to ask them to hurry along. I thought by now, they would have worked out the "new-ness" of everything and it would have moved a little faster.

We loved Enchanted Garden. So pretty!! The photo with Jessie was taken in the main atrium. Every few minutes they would switch the characters out, so they had more Toy Story characters, but this is the only one I waited for.

I'm definately heading over to your PTR!!!

Today is Nassau day, which is also Pirate Night!

With no excursion to go on, we decided to just go with the flow this day.
We knew we wanted to get off the ship and at least go to the straw market.

So we went to Cabanas for breakfast.

While finishing our breakfast, we see this little sneaky guy. It was so funny because he would sit there looking from left to right (making sure no one was watching)

Then he went for it!!!

We had fun just sitting there laughing at this. He would do that a couple more times, before the CM's cleaned that table.

We went up to the sports deck to check out the ships beside us.

Then we seen Goofy coming to play Golf. I was talking to a CM and she said they weren't doing photo opportunities at that time, he was just going to play golf.
It was cute!

Coming up: Leaving the ship for a short visit to Nassau!!
