SWEET SIXTEEN :Have they been kissed? PTR: Updated 8/15

Last night I got a call around 1 a.m. from the other house I am on call for , one of the staff had just received a call from the police that her husband was in an accident and being taken to the hospital !! So after a couple of phone calls I had to go pick up an extra staff and take her to the house to relieve the girl to go be her hubby!!! Only problem I had taken Tylenol PM !!I made it there and back safely but I was really fighting sleep on the way backLesson learnt never assume it is safe to take it when you are on call !!

Oh so sorry to hear about the accident.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers everyone. I will share, it was my childerns mother passed away. We were seperated but it all happened so quickly we only found out she was sick in February.

I really want to share this mostly to make everyone aware of a disease called

Prayers and hugs going out to Dan and his kids. my husband has been divorced from his first wife for about 25 years, but he shares kids and grandkids with her so she is still very much a part of our lives. She calls him when her computer crashes, and for years he still did her taxes. She is diabetic and has to wear a sportive shoe on one foot and a boot on the other after losing some of her toes and having very brittle bones in her feet. She does not monitor her diet and blood sugar well, and we have had a few scares with her the last few years. I doubt I will ever say we are friends, but we are friendly and can attend the grandkids events together peacefully. I known he will feel a loss when (if) she is gone.

Just got back from Disney and getting caught up on DIS.
Looked like the ice skating performance and awards banquet were fantastic!
So sorry about Dan's and children's loss.
I'm not sure what to say about the accident with the company van except... whoops! I've had a similar experience with our family van.

I'm really touched at the way you worded that Rosie- "they simply enjoy". Very poignant! Sometimes proms are so fraught with unnecessary issues like: Do I dance right? Do I fit in? Am I wearing the right thing. I love that they just simply enjoy the event for what it is.

Funny thing is Ron and I looked for a pole but didn't see any!!!All the Bosses were there but even the Director knows I'm CRAZY !! She just laughs !!!!

Dan, still praying. Sorry for your familie's loss. I had a friend who had that ds. I didn't understand what it was at the time - I only knew that there was "some syndrome." It is heart wrenching to see someone so young struck down with this.

Computer problems are the worst! It's not nice when your window to the world is closed!
Hope you get it fixed rather sooner than later!

Thanks for your kind comments about the awards dinner and for letting Dan know that you have learned something from his sharing . I urge all of my readers to check out his link as possibly this knowledge can help a diagnosis way quicker and increase awareness to step up research !!

As for the virus I had those things you described POP up but I was fore warned not to click on them so I didn't !!I have a call into Phil my friendly Computor Tech!!!!!
