Sweet Mother of Fudge! 2/15 A Goodbye Summary~Pimples and Farts

Everybody needs a Smurf vehicle....

You are a nicer mommy than I would have been ;) . Whogirl would've been Soarin' over Epcot! I don't believe you have to get a ticket to babyswap--we've never had to at Tower of Terror or RNRC. See, now I'm mad at that CM for making you cry! That's just stupid.

I am back on the South Beach diet today, can you tell? :rotfl:

Oh my heavens!!!!!
The hand painted blue truck!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I love your parents!!

They are a colorful bunch!

Smurf vehicle :lmao: I could not be on that diet because it got renamed the South Witch Diet.

Good grief, MTK, how did I miss this great update????

Better late than never, I guess.

So sorry you missed Soarin', it's my favorite ride. Not that I ever go on many/any, LOL.

Awe yes, I've seen many of these hand painted or rattle canned beauties in my day. Great memories from my Redneck youth.

I'm so sorry about the Soarin' ordeal. What a bummer. You were very gracious offering to let that family get back together.

Cannot believe your mom painted a car blue. Smurf blue. With house paint.

I can only imagine what other kind of memories you must have from growing up. :goodvibes The stories I bet you could regale us with. Seriously, maybe you need to start a blog just about that! :thumbsup2

I know how you feel about the retreating from a ride "walk of shame." I had to do one of those in December, and it was not pretty.

The Snuggie story had me :rotfl: I am glad you are back :wave2:

Oh for Pete's Bananas!!! We are over 40,000 views :rotfl:

You are all a bunch of great people to put up with me this long!!!

MTK -- I have been a lurker for a while now. (Well as long as it took me to read all 49 pages ;) ) I have emencely enjoyed your TR. I am actually debating writing a combined TR for our two trips last year. I am going through the post Disney trip blues and reading your trip report made me laugh so much and definately reminds me of some moments in our trip. We have four boys so the fart humor is not wasted on me! I was thinking writing a TR might help to ease the Disney post partum blues?

The alarm story was priceless. It reminds me of when we purposely set off our alarm just to scare our boys when they are having one of those "I'm not listening days". It really helps to tear them away from whatever is distracting them, not to mention the :rotfl: it gives us! Yes we are mean, but it's too funny! And yes for any who had the question, I am the mom who hides behind doors just to jump out and scare our boys. I also honk the horn at my husband just to see him jump! (Mom's little revenge)

I actually called my backside the Jiggler the other day to my husband who died laughing. Just wanted you to know that your humor is carried farther than these boards. :goodvibes

This is especially funny to me because my step dad would not tell anyone what he wanted for Christmas this year. My mom and I were talking about it one day and she said "if he doesn't hurry up and tell me what he wants, he's getting a Snuggie" of course I replied "I think he needs a Sham Wow too!" :rotfl:

I know this if OT but have you seen the new comercial from the Sham Wow guy? He's selling some kind of chopper. Anyway, he shows how to chop up nuts at one point, and makes the comment "you're gonna love my nuts". We loose it everytime!

Ok. I loved your post on so many levels. Please write that trip report. I think it will be great!! Using the alarm as a parenting tool never occurred to me before. I thank you for that little hint. The jiggler is so happy to see that it is infamous, butt you really should not encourage it.

And I think I am going to love his nuts. All chopped up.

:rotfl2:

Now that made me  and love you even more.

Can’t Make Is to Was

I find when I think about Poppy I can’t change is to was. I can’t make the transition that good sense dictates. John Hugh can’t have been. He can’t be in the past tense.
Maybe other people can. But other people did not live life with such relish. If people have flames that flicker and sputter out at the end of their time, Poppy had lava, that refuses to obey any rules. He knocks down walls, burns a path that could never be ignored. He leaves a legacy so strong it becomes part of the landscape. If he touched your life, you won’t forget it.

Lucky enough to be called a friend? Well, that was a treasure that would never lose its sparkle.

But if he loved you.

But if he loved you.

Then close your eyes and know, deep inside where your heart settles right next to your soul, he is right there.
You are chartered with a job. A job to take each day, and do something to celebrate being here.

Sing. Out loud.

Dance. To every song.

Laugh. Until you are gasping and crying.

Love. Like you will never leave.

If you are not having a good damn time, it’s your own damn fault.

Chapter 33 Chin Hairs and Dead Hamsters

MrsTheKing, i have been lurking on your TR for weeks, if not months, and i have laughed, cried, and laughed until i cried. Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us, you are every bit the special person that your Poppy was and you will leave just as much a legacy, someday, as he has.

i'm finally posting because i couldn't read your last post without needing to hug you.
