Okay, so am I the only dork here who actually found you through ZZUB?

So many people were going to ZZUB talking about Mrs. The King, Mrs. The King...it intrigued me!

And then I read.

And I laughed. And identified. In some ways that shouldn't be discussed.

But through all the funny, you caputered a moment that I totally identify with. And that's watching your children watch rides/shows. The awe, the wonder on their faces. I read that and thought, that's how I feel! It's so true, how their reaction will just stay with us forever.

Thanks for taking us along for the ride. I can't wait to read more!

Salt and Chocolate, my two favorite flavors. My Daughter, Son in Law, and Grandchildren, PS, & PC are just an amazing family. I have read and reread this TR. My family is like no other. The Kings never ever talk harshly to each other, the children are unusual. They are kind, sweet, funny, smart and so cute. We call the Dad, Walt Disney Jr. He will be a cast member someday for sure. What a nice person. He is the only one in the family with a masters. In his family they are all beyond educated. Masters, Professors, teachers etc. All so nice, kind and fun to be with. Mr the King has puppy dog eyes, when you talk he listens with his heart, he asks you what you think. We love him, our daugther and the children like crazy. If you ever want to have a wonderful time with a family who live life to the fullest join us please here at the disboards. We laugh like crazy and love life. My daughters tr is as good and sometimes better than being there. My dream is for her to write a book when she has the time. Is that another name for them "walking farts" that old people get?

How old do you have to be to get the walking farts? Or shall I say...how old do you have to be before you don't care?

Ok. This has nothing to do with darting farts. But it does rhyme. Remember "Jarts"?!! We used to play that game at Crying Uncle Bob's House. The knives that had colorful handles that children threw towards each other while aiming for little elfin hula hoops? Gosh. I miss that game.

I would love to Dart out a fart while playing Jarts

Someone in my family had gastric many years ago and she gets the walking farts. One time K described it as a farting machine gun and it's so terribly difficult not to laugh now when it happens. And, apparently, when it happens people aren't supposed to acknowledge it, even the person who does the farting. Weird.

Please see above. I think you have dug up a story from my memory about Mother that might need to be in the next chapter.

Excellent! I commandeered one of Zzub's readers. I can see my readers escaping to his trip report, but I am delighted you were willing to downgrade to me!! His writing is akin to eating caviar on a yacht. My writing is like eating an old M&M out of someone else's couch crack, while an ornery cat attacks you.

Alright, I'll admit ZZUB is the whole reason I started lurking on the DIS. I would read portions of his trip report aloud to my husband. That's when you know you're hooked. When you're willing to explain to your husband why someone else's trip to Disney is so funny/exciting/moving etc.

However, I would not call your trip a downgrade, my dear! You bring the funny. And a bit of the sap, too. Like no one else. And I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

And by the by, I could not HELP but share the story of the squirrel shirt with my DH. Read it aloud even. And then we both laughed. Because we are that juvenile. But you knew that already, right?

My Mom passed away last Sept. but this so reminded me of her! She never took any crap from anyone and I don't think she owned a shirt that didn't have an applique or the word Grandma on it!
