we have me, DW, DD (5) and twin DS(3). with the boys now 3 it has completely changed which hotels we can stay at and how we have to plan and what we can afford.
we are used to the package where you get park hopper, Disney hotel, with dining plan. but with not being able to stay at an AS we are looking for ways to lower our costs.
we made a list of must haves and simplified it down to this.
onsite (for EMH mornings, our kids are early risers)
park hopper tickets (we usually are only 1/2 day at Epcot and DHS sometimes)
other than that we are pretty flexible
so far our best estimate has been the dolphin with the teacher discount (
dreams unlimited quoted $129 x 3 and $169 x 1 for 4 nights before Christmas) and and buying our tickets seperate with no dining.
does this sound like the best (cheapest) way for us to go?
what about any hidden or extra cost at dolphin? will we miss the "Disney" feel? does dolphing still have EMH and Disney transportation included? what about small kids there? any other info, better ways to do it, etc appreciated. really planning now for week before Christmas (we cant travel off season since i am a teacher and coach, DW teaches also)
and wanting to get plans set soon.
thanks,
