Help! I was so excited to snag an ADR at Steakhouse 71 that I didn't figure out the how first. This will be my first trip using a scooter ( I have one booked with Gold's Mobility) and I guess I just forgot.

We are staying at the Swan. I booked a 7:55 am ADR at Steakhouse 71. It is our Epcot day (and I know, but it is the only day so far to get that ADR). I can walk, but I won't be able to walk all day without pain, hence the scooter. Trying to figure out how to make this work and I'm hoping for ideas.

The only two things I have come up with are: Renting a wheelchair when we start our day at Epcot and have someone pushing me. There are 3 other adults who can help with that.

OR

Sis and I taxi from the Contemporary back to the Swan, grab the scooter, and meet the rest of the crew in Epcot. She is not a fan of the monorail, so she doesn't mind skipping the ride to Epcot.

Anything I'm missing? I am definitely going to keep trying to find a better time for that ADR, but no luck so far.

It is 9 that day. Nuts.

Take an accessible cab from Swan to CR - speak with your hotel conceirge the night before about how to arrange a guaranteed one. Then monorail to Epcot.

(BUt also speak with the concierge about their buses for early morning ADRs and if they are accessible or not... you might get lucky and they are accessible and one will go to CR in time; basically the night before talk with the coneirge, explain your problem and ask for their help for a solution that will ensure you get to the ADR on time)

You also could take the scooter and "walk" to BW, YC or BC and use THEIR early morning transportation options to get to CR, which may be a better option.

Alternatively, if you can walk far enough (you don't have to be the retrieval person, one of your party members can be as long as they are an adult you trust to drive it safely; you can rest or do rides near the entrance like Living with the Land while they go on the retrieval mission; so determine how far you could go; remember at TTC you have to switch monorails):

Leave scooter at hotel. Taxi to CR. Monorail to Epcot. Either bus to Swan from main entrance or Walk through Epcot to International Entrance and take friendship boat to Swan. Retrieve scooter. Bus back to Epcot main entrance or Boat or "walk" back to Epcot International entrance. Enjoy Epcot day.

I thought I'd read at some point that the Swan/Dolphin had some transportation changes when they reopened after covid (not using Disney transport?). I can't remember the details but it made me wonder if it would be harder to get around with an ECV from those hotels.

The easiest might be to uber to and from the Swan to your breakfast ADR at the CR as that gives you the least amount of travel hassle and you wouldn't have to leave as early and perhaps worry about being late for the breakfast.

I sure do miss having the Minnie Van option - that was great for ECV's and hotel dining!

That is true. Swan/Dolphin had used the WDW bus transportation, but were not/are not since reopening. I had read the reason was WDW not having enough bus drivers and many of the resorts with hotel and DVC only DVC part open (Disney Vacation Club)
Things may change as time goes on.
My suggestion would be to contact the Concierge at Swan for suggestions and assistance.
