We're heading down to Disney to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday over Thanksgiving, and I'm about to book the Swan or Dolphin at the teacher rate. I just don't know which one to pick!

Anybody have any pros/cons/advice? Love them/hate them?

Thanks!

Can't go wrong with either one.
Dolphin is bigger and has more of a 'happening' vibe. Swan has queen beds, dolphin had doubles. We chose the Dolphin due to the better AAA rate.
Have fun!:cool1:

Both are amazing resorts and as WDW-Owned resorts become more expensive, the S&D become more popular! Ask your daughter which she would like best. They have a great pool and great restaurants.

I didn't know they offered a teacher's rate. Can anyone tell me about this?

With a 10 year old I would choose the Dolphin!

We have stayed in both but find the Dolphin has more of a family feel. You have the 24 hour food court with Picabu- the fountain with ice cream and burgers and the candy shop as well as the arcade and laundry!

Also if you and dh want a meal alone you can have two hours of free child care at the dolphin club - and out of all the WDW childcare clubs it was my dd's fav along with neverland and AKL. We didn't use them much but my kids loved them as much as dh and I love having a couple hours alone during vacation.

The pool is great and shared by both hotels and there really isn't much difference in transportation so that's a wash.

This is great information for me......I just booked the Dolphin for a December trip. I didn't know about the dolphin club and the 24 hour food court. Now I'm really excited!!!! :cool1:
