Swan Hotel & MDE etc?

Helping a friend plan for his trip in July, and he is staying at the Swan for a conference. He tells me he can not use Magical Express bus, but is he able to sign up for My Disney Experience app to book dining and fast passes ahead? Any other Disney perks he won't get? Thanks!

Yes, he gets to use MDE and gets 60 day FP. No MagicBands, dinign plan or charging to room from the parks.

Oh, ok. No Magic Bands? So how does he do FP+? Buy a ticket online, link it to his MDE account and then carry a hard ticket around? Assume he can make make dining ressies in advance? Still 180 days?

ADRs are a day at a time at 180 days.

His ticket will link to a card. Or he can buy a retail Magic Band.

The magic band for him would only replace the ticket card. No charging to the room. Honestly, I would say I'd skip buying one. But that's just me!
