Bob Bob Bob...hello again. I see Debbie is doing some major sucking up ;) :teeth: Cute elf, I could probably get DH to go see that move...maybe.

Brandie-- you are too that young. Younger than us will do it ;)

Christine...thanks for the cake.

Mickeycat...welcome. It's only once in awhile that we get...umm...off topic. Pay no attention ot the troubleakers among us.

I'm too tired to move today. Up too late...rough day at work, still need to finish some stinkin' paperwork at home tonight. DH is still butchering the deer in my kitchen too. I'm a tad cranky tonight. I need to plan a trip. ....wait!! I'm going away for the weekend!! I forgot

on my kitchen table.....we were all fortunate enough to get three deer one year on opening day......they went to the butcher.....we did do a MOOSE on my kitchen table and then I SAID>........NO MORE.......so we go to a nice man that is very honest and does a good job.....for supper this evening we had the tenderloin......it melted in my mouth.....cooked it in a hot frying pan ......what a way to end the day.....yummy......have a good night all

if you guys keep talking about butchering Bambi and Bullwinkle on the kitchen table
I'll just have to keep talking about Clay :o

Thanks guys. :)

I wanna see Elf too - looks cute. SSB, how was Will Farrell in it (or did you not notice there was anyone else in but that girl, LOL)

Ewww, moose. no moose for me, thanks!

LOL pumba (moose on the table...I had a vision...which I know is nothing like the reality hehehe)

OK, we'll stop now Debbie. But that means you have to stop too about he-who-is-named-after-mud ;)

Wait a minute! I haven't shot, skinned or eaten either Bullwinkle or Bambi! And I have still had to listen to updates on he-who-is-named-after-mud!

What's up with that????

Christine--I'm sure Bob never saw anyone in that movie but the above mentioned lady in green.

:earseek: :earseek:

ah now come on...there's nothing wrong with talking about a bit of mud...

;)

troublemakers? i see no troublemakers!

:teeth:

yea but chopping up the guts....taking the head off....and the legs off and the skin off and hanging him while the blood drains out all over the kitchen table...... that is why they hang em isn't it? (insert puke here)
well thats a whole lot messier than MUD :o

I'd rather be all wrapped in Clay :o
p_ad_golden_haven_3.jpg

he's good...I mean its good for stress and to relax muscles...improves circulation....smooths the skin and the hotter the "clay" the better

Now THAT was a groaner !!::yes:: LOL

As far as the deer:
OK, first of all, in my house it's the counter, not the table (pumba's is the table). Second of all, it's gutted in the field so I don't see any guts. Yes it's hung (in the garage in our case) with a newspaper under it, but it's not like it's dripping quantities of blood at that point. And I don't see the skinning or be-heading...so basically all I see is the big "quarters" on the counter (if I go by while this is going on), and it's really not that messy or gory. I've seen the same sort of thing at our local Shaw's supermarket, they have a big window now behing the meat counter (your "custom butcher" if their vast pre-packaged selection doesn't suit you). 'cept DH doesn't wear a white smock or gloves. hehehe Though I must say he is quite neat and also cleans up very well when he's done :)

I'm a nervous wreck tonight...I let DD go to a concert over at UNH tonight. We had the whole big "trust" talk. Sigh. It was hard to say "no you can't it's a weeknight" when on Friday she brought home a report card of all A's (Anatomy & Physiology, Bio II, AP Statistics, Advanced Writing, Psychology) :earseek: So hold your breathe and cross your fingers and toes and legs and everything for another hour or two.

Yeah, but, I haven't seen any "hot" Clay around here at all. :duck:

I'm talking about HOT mud for the bath...shows where your mind is....

I saw where your mind was over on SSB's ELF thread .....the one after charlie's post
:rotfl:
i thought about that too....but I didn't want to say anything .......not out there....you know in public..... out of this thread ;)

yes I know I'm wacko

And congrats to your DD ann for those grades :D
I didn't see that in your post at first...I think i had a piece of Clay in my eye ;)

anyway welcome mickeycat....your profile says you're a male.....do you....by any chance.....have big feet ?

hey  I was just curious  [/B]
  Feet are large i've been told.

What kinda favors do you get. Does it have something to do with the feet?:jester:

Awww, Debbie's just on a kick about big feet. I think she wants to do a research project about the size of feet or sumpin'

Maybe she got a job working for a shoe or sock manufacturer???

its not big feet or shoes or socks.....it is LEATHER.........she is into leather now........that has to be it......ANN we need a butcher room outdoors and we can do it in that room and then just hose it down afterwards.......ours is a neat process too .......thanks for letting me discuss it without the whole place falling apart.....hahaha

OK I did.....but you know I REALLY HAD to pee :hyper:

try to have a good day everyone :D ....in bed

blame it on Charlie

I can't even wrap my brain around the concept of having a MOOSE on my kitchen table - not that I think it's all gross and everything - it's just...how dang BIG does your kitchen table have to be to hold an animal that weighs over 1,000 pounds???? :earseek: I wouldn't even be able to sit on my kitchen table, and, much to everyone's surprise, I am LESS than 1,000 pounds. ;)

I think I need glasses or sumpin - Clay was in LEATHER, and I DIDN'T NOTICE!!!!!! :faint: But the mud bath does sound rather...dirty. :p

Welcome aboard, Mickeycat. Big feet are ALWAYS welcomed with open...ah...arms...yeah, arms!!

Great grades for DD, Ann - sounds like she's got a handle on her work - she deserves a little treat.

My older DS shocked my socks off - just missed making the Honor Roll by ONE grade. Can I just say - HOLY SCHNIKE!! I have to say that he has always had to struggle to get halfway decent marks, but this year, to have a majority of A's and B+s....I'm getting misty just thinking about it - I'm so PROUD. :hyper:

Msss...I'm so sorry, girl - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! (Ask my family - I've been SO BAD about remembering birthdays - my Dad's 79th b'day is tomorrow, and I'd BETTER remember!!)
