Swan character breakfasts

I was hoping to do the character breakfast at the Swan but don't see it for reservations on the Disney dining page. Can you just do it as a walk in; or should we call ahead of time? Does anyone have personal experience with this meal? Thanks

I think it's just weekends,and it's walk in at breakfast. A reason to keep me away,I feel like it will be a zoo without reservations....

Garden Grove at the Swan does not use ADR through Disney Dining.

They do not take Disney Dining Plan or allow charge to Magic Band.

It's letting me select an 8:00AM time slot.

I suspect the drop in traffic isn't so bad, though, since people are pre-programmed that character breakfast = book 180 days, plus no Magic Band charge.

Really? I have tried for 2 months, and nothing shows up for breakfast- when I called the restaurant directly,they said they only take walkins at breakfast!

I wonder what I am doing wrong.... I tried a different browser.... either it's a VERY popular choice 4 months in advance,or the person on the phone told me the wrong info...are we talking about the garden grove breakfast here?

I wonder if there is confusion among us between the Garden Grove (Swan) and the Garden Grill (Epcot). The latter appears to allow breakfast reservations while I get get them for the Garden Grove.

I don't know about breakfast but we did dinner a few times in 2013 without any reservations. Pluto and Goody were great - lots of time since we were basically the only people there!

We've walked in twice and never had to wait long. Great food, good character interaction. If you are a AAA member, bring your card and you get 20% off!

Open table reservations open 60 days in advance.

Ok I must be losing my mind.... I just went and checked ANY date for breakfast between now-my trip,NOTHING shows as available online at open table! Are there characters at dinner also on weekends? I just don't know why I am getting a brick wall on this place when other pp's have no problems....

Yes, characters at dinner. I don't think they take reservations for breakfast.

Characters are at dinner every night of the week.
