Swan and Dolphin Teacher Discount

Thinking of doing a split stay with Swan and POR. I am retiring April 1st and going to WDW May 1st to celebrate. Will I still be able to get the teacher discount?

Wondering if a current teacher certification would do the trick? I am not presently teaching while I do the mom thing but still keep up my certification. I would assume op could still get the discount with a recent pay stub maybe or perhaps your teaching certificate. I have wondered if the certificate would get me the discount.

When I used the discount at Swan for nurses, I was only required to show my state nursing license at check-in.

When I used the teacher discount, I brought my teachers' union card, but no one at the Swan ever asked to see it. The discount rate was $129 / night for late August. Not sure if that was luck or if that's standard.
