I tried to edit my old thread title, but couldn't. Thanks for your comments about Midwest Dan.

While Midwest is currently at $258 for my flights in August, airfarewatchdog sent me an email alert today and Frontier had rates from St. Louis for $159 (when I checked it had already went up to $184) and of course my dates were no longer available. But, I was wondering how people liked Frontier as well. I live 3 1/2 hours from either Kansas City or St. Louis so either airport will work. My home airport flights are around $500pp so when you multiply that times 4 people, it makes sense to drive to one of the bigger airports. Just trying to figure out which airline has best deal and most customer satisfaction. Thanks for your comments.

I live in Colorado and Denver is Frontier's hub. So I've flown them several times. I like them. My choices for nonstop flights to MCO are United, Frontier and Southwest. If the fares and flight times are comparable, I usually choose Frontier. I'm flying them in May.

I have flown Southwest when the fares are better and when I am by myself, I don't mind the open seating. But if I am not saving money, I prefer to book an airline with assigned seats when traveling with someone. I am glad that Southwest came to this airport though. Prices drop when Southwest opens up their dates. So I usually wait until Southwest opens their dates and see where everyone ended up pricewise.
