I called a few weeks ago, and heard that SWA was supposed to release their fares beyond June 6 today.
I couldn't wait, so I booked on Spirit, but I tought I'd post a note here for everyone who was waiting. i've heard rumors that the good fares go fast, so keep your eyes open.

I checked this morning Fed 10 at 7:40 nothing yet. :confused3

I couldn't wait any longer either. I ended up with NWA.

I'm waiting & watching in NM. Still nothing, but it is only 7:10 in PHX where they are based. Maybe later this a.m. when the office people begin work? I'm hoping. I need tics for 6/30 - 7/7 for a wedding near ORL.

Im waiting too. I need July 25-Aug 4. Keep checking everyday, but nothing!!! :sad2:

Same here. It doesn't seem like they are ever going to change. I need tickets for 8 people July 2-9th....hurry SOUTHWEST! :badpc:

I experienced the same thing with Independance Air... when they FINALLY opened up summer schedules, it hit the phone reps first - THEN the website.

I asked the SW rep this morning if theirs is the same process and she said YES. But the updates to the website will be just shortly after (whereas Independance took a day or so for the website to catch up).

So if you want to be the FIRST to know, you'll be better off calling in every so often BEFORE you check the website.

HTH...

Called back again 10:05 am (EST) and still not open. This lady told me something different though... she said the phone reps and the website will open up at the SAME time... so I don't know... got conflicting info.

I may be telling you something that you all know...however!!!! I booked my flight with SWA online ASAP when the dates came out that I needed. Then as the price lowered, I traded for the lower price through the Travel Center. Unless it's a full refundable ticket price, the extra funds get saved for future travel. I've lowered the price on tickets for 8 people twice now for our WDW flight!!

Let me see if I've got this straight... Can you trade your reservations for the lower fares and get refunded the difference? Or is the difference credited toward future tickets? Thanks...

Differences are credited to future travel w/in 1 year of original purchase date only. You use a confirmation number to claim your credit.

You guys are better than me. I got tired of waiting last week and booked on AA. May cost a little more but a least I won't have a three hour layover.

Actually SWA will issue a credit back to your credit card if you ask. I've done this many times and have never had a problem. That's why I'm waiting for SWA to open their schedule for my August trip. They are so people friendly and want to make sure their customers are happy. I also heard today was the day and have called every hour with no news.

The price from Albany had a drop about an hour ago. Still not the $49 I've grown to love, but $79 isn't bad.

Ok.....so here it is 5:15pm CST and still nothing. Does anyone think it is still going to happen today? If not today .......WHEN? LOL

We were told last night (after many, many calls) that the new schedule has been delayed due to adding one route and removing another. They said it could be out today or it could be next week. When we told the agent we were trying to book 8 seats, he suggested we contact group sales. Said that usually it had to be 10 but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Still as of this morning 2/11 nothing.
I don't think they've realized that they've lost a lot of business due to their "reorganization". They should at least maybe put out June, then when they're ready July and so on and so forth.

You guys are so funny... it's february!! :-D I am enjoying following this thread...

who has OCPD?
