Swa Ding

I cannot get my SWA DING to work! I've installed DING, I get the updates, but when I try to book a special DING fare, I get an error message telling me that these fares can only be booked through the DING website. I've followed the steps to be sure that my firewall is not blocking the website. Still can't get the thing to work. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm afraid that once a special DING fare comes out from my city, I won't be able to book it. I know someone here will be able to help me. Thanks!

A couple of ideas...maybe you need to enable and/or clear cookies, clear your browser cache, delete temporary files. Good Luck...

Follow the instructions in the hotlink the error message provides. If you are Windows NT it's pretty simple. You need to go into your firewall program (Norton Internet Security or whatever you use), add Southwest airlines as an acceptable site, and tell the machine to let it accept the info the Southwest site provides. Several points and clicks but the intsructions are pretty straight forward.

I had to do exactly that with my computer! I have windows ME and it wouldn't let ding thru until I added southwest and said it was ok to accept!

I have done all this and it still won't work! I will try deleting the cookies and temp. files and see if that helps. I have Windows XP. Does tell you anything?
