LynneG,
So did you walk the rest of the time to Seaworld? The website says it is across the street, is that accurate? Was it an easy walk? Thanks.
No, I had a rental car and drove the rest of the time. I like coming and going at my convenience when on vacation. I only took the shuttle to SW the one day because I wanted to see how easy and I was too lazy to get my Busch parking pass from the Discovery Cove before having to go to SW our first day at the Fairfield.
And, the Fairfield is on I Drive, and while yes the Fairfield is across the street from the one side of SW that is on the other side of I-Drive it is not and entrance way into SW. Also, wouldn't walk on I Drive near the Fairfield nor would I walk on the Central Parkway. Huge amount of fast traffic near the Fairfield. I did see people walking across the Parkway at the side of the Fairfield that faces the Parkway. All is can say is

ole I would have been really scared to do that, especially with my kids. There is a Walgreens and food places in the parking lot of the Fairfield. Do not need a car to go to them.
The Entrance to SW is on the Central Parkway. Make a left out of Fairfield lot on the I drive side, turn right at first light onto Central Parkway. SW is on right, Discovery Cove on left. Discover Cove turnoff is before SW. It was about a 5 or 6 minute drive and I think the shuttle was about the same time amount.
Note: If you are going to Discovery Cove, and dont have a car, take the shuttle to SW and Discovery Cove has a bus that takes you from the SW parking lot (where buses let off/on) to Discovery Cove. Also, if you do get a car, with my Discovery Cove package, I ordered the unlimited parking pass. For $40 plus tax, I got a pass for unlimited parking in all Busch parks for 14 days. It was great, as I went to SW twice, BG twice, and Aquatica twice. Otherwise, parking would have been $12 plus tax and cash at the toll booth.
