I'm sorry. I'm sure it's been asked before, and I did a search, but couldn't find it. Anyway, we usually fly SW nonstop with 3 kids. But with the prices being so high this year, we have found a lower fare if we do a stop without leaving the plane. Now, my question is, will we be able to just keep the seats we are in , especially since I may pay the extra fee so it's more likely we will all sit together. I assume the answer is yes, but want to make sure before I book.

We did this when we flew from Philly to LA, we had a stop in St Louis but never got off the plane. We stayed in our seats and just got up to stretch our legs, but they allow you to get up and move if you would like.

You can stay in your seats or you can move to different seats if you want. The flight attendants count the number of passegners remaining on the flight and once they've finished you can move to any seat you want before they allow other passengers to board.

OK, cool. I went ahead and booked it. If for some reason a non stop flight at a lower price becomes available I can just change it. If not, I'm comfortable with the stop. Hey, it was a 500.00 savings over what my original quote was, so I think we can handle an extra 75 min.!;)
