SW fares for October 2014

I will start off by saying I do not fly very often . I see that SW should be opening up the fares through August very soon. Any idea when I should be looking for October fares, or is there a preliminary calendar for this type of stuff? Thanks in advance!

Always look at SW's travel tools.

"We are currently accepting air reservations through June 30, 2014. On January 27, 2014, we will open our schedule for sale through August 8, 2014. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently"

Thanks so much! So it looks like they generally release fares for October in March or April. I will probably start checking next month . Right now US Air is running really high so I'm hoping SW can help us out!

Ditto...except waiting for Oct 4-11.

Key point to remember if you're book with rewards is that on April 1 SW goes from 60 points per dollar to 70 points per dollar.

I'm using rewards points so I'm praying they open up thru Oct by March 31!!!

Same here...but OCT 19-24. My luck will be that it opens up through 10/18.

Yep, on March 3 I know what I'll be doing, bright and early. It looks like we should get RT direct flights our of PHL for $552 total if the late July/Early Aug fares are any indication.

Yeah, I've been stalking PHL to MCO and it looks like each leg will be $138. Not too horrible!! Of course I wouldn't mind a little lower!!
