Survivor

I'm sad that Sol went home I was really rooting for him and I loved seeing him try to get some things going. I do think he had some good enough friends in the sense that while they may have still voted for him they also told him it was him on the chopping block without trying to deceive him like we've seen where they try to make someone feel comfortable without a hint that they would be going home. Ultimately people just had other plans that meant he would be the fall guy.

He only seemed slightly surprised and just more resigned that his plan to get a different player out than him didn't work but it wasn't a complete blindside since he knew in advance. The other players who wanted him out as a blindside I don't think knew at that time that he knew.

I have some serious doubts about poor Andy. First he couldn't get any money for the auction, then when the peanut butter thing came up they could've thrown him a bone and let him in on it. I do like the twist that they can't share.
I think he mentioned that he was playing that type of player intentionally until a certain time in the game where other players assumed he was just a follower but I don't know that he was actually playing when he couldn't find any money for the auction...unless he really thought there wouldn't be any bad repercussions for not having any money.

At first Sue's appearance was a distraction but then it became I also don't like how she is as a player because she's really coming off as vindictive as if she hasn't been directing who people should be voting for. Bless Sol for at least having more grace in the gameplay.

And each episode she looks older. It’s like her face is melting or something. At this point she looks much older than her real age.
She is 59.
She thinks she looks 49.
I think she looks 69.
I know lots in their early 70's that look younger than her.

Unfortunately all that work she has had done only makes her look older. Not everyone can afford Cher's docs. And it doesn't help that she is perpetually dirty. This season has had the dirtiest competitions and these folks are SO dirty. Do they not take advantage of that salt water to clean themselves, maybe sooth the muscles? I sound like a broken record in my house "why are they always so dirty!"

That tribal was chaotic. Sierra seemed bitter. People get voted out. It stinks if it's you, but that's what you signed up for.
This is the same when people come back from tribal and they go bat-sh*t crazy on the person who voted for them. Give me a break, it's a game, so you got a vote, didn't matter in the long run. Then they are on a mission to get that person voted out just because they wrote their name down one time.

Sometimes the "super fans" who think they know how to maneuver through the season are the worst players. They don't see their own flaws, so caught up in the power of "knowledge". So you had a vote ... take it as a compliment, re-evaluate your game, adjust your plan, improve your social (often that vote is due to lack of interaction) ... but to then obsess and make your game dying on a stupid hill ... you might find yourself on the bench. I think a good example is Genevieve ... she was getting way too worked up over Rome staying, being in power, using him. Once he left I think her instinct was to revenge him but I think smartly her plan shifted to being a bit more flexible, which was smart. She is still there when she should have been on the bench.

I watched one of Sierra's exit interviews where they asked her how she envisioned herself as the first jury member. I don't remember her exact wording, but to paraphrase, she said she was going to to put on an act to keep the remaining players guessing as to whether or not they had her vote.

I'm glad they finally broke up that trio and was glad to see Caroline onboard with the vote.

I now have my DH referring to Sue as "melty-face" I swear she looks worse and worse! What do you think her odds are moving forward? As a non-melty-face fan I'm ready to see her gone. And for the love of all things.... get in the water and clean up a bit!!
I simply didn't feel she could look any worse or any dirtier. Seriously is she using dirt for makeup??

It looked like she had ash on her face. Does she not wash her hands and then touch her face? She was the perfect person to set up for being caught red handed.
